The lava formations on the floor of this cave are amazing.. It would be a little better if the natural look had been preserved. Bring a really bright flashlight, and make sure the batteries are full. It's only one way but having visited it would be dangerous without a flashlight. Lots of trip and slip hazards but a relatively easy hike. Again please a good flashlight (No phone lights)

I enjoy coming here once, twice or even three or four times a year in the summer! They Cave entrance is small, I usually sit and climb in, then a little rocky at the first part and then it opens up to nice clear ground. I would definitely bring the kids, I think it's a great time for everyone. The graffiti is a little much sadly some things are a little much but simply don't look and dwell on it! There is a little bending and stooping I'd say but nothing too harsh. My two tips, 1. Take a light jacket or coat, it gets kinda chilly. 2. Be sure to bring a extremely bright flashlight and your set!

This is a fun, short cave experience. Very easy to access from the road, and mild enough for young kids. Depending on the time of year, there is some water inside the cave. The only downside is the graffiti.

It's called 17 mile cave because it's 17 miles from town.
There are no restrictions of who or what can enter. There is a lot of broken glass so I wouldn't recommend bringing my dog.
