They care more about Medicare definitions than helping patients. Specifically Dr Lessler. She blamed my disability and symptoms on my delayed sleep phase citing if I tried I could fix it, despite it being a documented and diagnosed disorder beyond my control, despite being diagnosed and well documented I have sleep disordered breathing as well. She said that if I tried I could fix it. It didn't matter to her I've been symptomatic for decades even over the course of having "normal" sleep schedules (6am-10pm, etc), or that I'm now disabled and bedridden some days because of CFS. Basically, she said my CFS is my fault, despite multiple doctors and specialists and interventions over the years showing otherwise and that I've tried personally just about everything. It'd be too long to list here, but yes I changed my behaviors for the sake of my health. Who would want to live like this? Not me. That's why I came here, because I have a complex sleep disordered breathing case and it's covered by my insurance. Completely insensitive, patient-blaming, talked to me as if I were a child who didn't already have a deep understanding of the conditions affecting me, and refused to help or listen to me before getting a SECOND sleep study to prove I have sleep disordered breathing- but offering an at-home study, which are significantly less accurate than in-lab PSGs. Be warned, she doesn't care about patients. Only Medicare criteria, and proving your physical illnesses are somehow your fault.

I absolutely love Dr. Lessler and the staff at this clinic. I find her to be so kind, gentle, understanding! She's a great educator too!! The staff are equally kind and considerate! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Had a call following up with my Mom's visit. Dr. Lessler does not have the best bedside manner. Although her advice was good and I agreed, her manner was less than impressive. I hung up feeling deflated by the call and was not happy with quite a few statements she made concerning my Mom. I would not recommend her.
