I wish that we could rate below one star. Spine Institute is a joke. The office at 3811 E. Bell - the doctor is there few days a week... when he is there. That's another story. They (he had an associate with him) sent me for a MRI and Xray 2 weeks ago on 9/11. Never heard back from them. I called once a week to follow up ,and of course, you can leave a message that is not being returned. Long story short, they are closing the Bell office and the new office (no address given) has not been cleaned yet and to call back in 2 weeks. NEVER will I go back there and I do not recommend the Spine Institute.

Dr. Burns and staff are amazing! Dr. Burns took the time to explain the medical issues I was having and the staff were in constant contact with me once my surgery was scheduled. I can't thank them enough!

I really don't like writing negative reviews. However, I feel people need to be put on notice about how this medical office conducts its business. I have been dealing with back pain for years, and I went in to see Dr. Dave to hopefully diagnose my issues. After examining me, she suggested that I might be a better fit for her colleague, Dr. Rowley. I then scheduled a second appointment with Dr. Rowley for the following week. I came in for my appointment and was placed in the patient room, where I proceeded to wait for one hour. Once the doctor finally came in, he looked me over for 5 min and stated that there was nothing he could do for me and that I should just wait it out and the pain might go away (after I have been dealing with this back pain for 3 years already). Fine, they weren't able to diagnose my issue, it happens. But I was billed $304 to meet with Dr. Dave, and $394 to meet with Dr. Rowley. $698 for a total of 30 min talking time with two seperate doctors, no imaging, no real examination. The office did write off $472, so I ultimately ended up paying $226 for both appointments, but I was extremely overcharged. Amazing how these medical offices get away without being up front about costs and then extremely overbilling people who are suffering from medical issues. $226 out of pocket, still suffering from back pain, still no closer to a diagnosis.

I receive radiofrequency ablation.

T12 fracture has resurfaced with higher pain levels. A bone kyphoplasty was done in December 2021 however things didn't heal as planned or anticipated. Today we are told the vertebrae has protruded outside spinal cord. What options r there?

Hello, I was seen by Dr. Wang last year at which time he advised I address my hip and knees first. Since then, Dr. David Camarata has successfully replaced my right hip and left knee. Since I won't be able to get the right knee done for some time,

Dr wang performed a cracked L 5 on my spine, then two weeks later I slightly bent my back and felt a sharp pain from my hip down to my ankle, the pain was worser than prior to the surgery, dr wang had to perform another surgery, he didn't tell me what had gone wrong. Anyway I am still feeling pain on my right side, his assistant told me that would be alright, just give it some time to heal, almost 3 weeks now, and I'm still in pain.

Yes, we accept both. However, we always encourage patients to check with their insurance before scheduling an appointment.
