I have notified office staff office numerous times that I received a bill IN ERROR for $50.00 for a missed appointment. I actually responded three times that I would need to cancel and reschedule such appointment. I offered proof of such notice and the office staff totally disregarded this. Two weeks ago, I sent a personal letter to Dr. Porto and this was totally ignored - no response. I am not even sure if Dr. Porto saw the letter. Dr. Porto is a competent physician but the office staff is absolutely rude, inefficient and based on other reviews I have read, is having a very negative effect on this practice. In addition, if I keep receiving invoices related to this matter (which will negatively affect my credit rating), I will have to take further action. Avoid this practice .

Nothing but poor service and major trouble. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you thrive on negativity and false statements. My mother was a patient for the last year. She has had nothing but trouble trying to get her own records from them. She has been lied to on the phone by the Medical Assistant to Dr. Arlen. The office staff has lied about how to obtain the records. When I finally went in to get them, the desk person said she had spoken to my mom that day. When in fact they had not answered the phone all day. And the voicemail box is full.

The receptionist on the phone was rude and refused to allow me to speak to a manager about my healthcare issue. I was denied service because this girl did not like my constructive conversation and later my complaint. I was referred for EMG testing and the receptionist made the experience impossible and then she hung up on me when I asked to speak to her supervisor. I am 69 years old and have dealt with many, many doctors offices. This was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with and because of this receptionist my testing will be delayed by weeks and I will suffer. Professionalism, manners, and empathy totally lacking here.
