Friendly staff. Has a great new comic book collection. Vintage comics selection is alright, but not bad. Look at the walls to see older collectibles. The place is always clean which is a plus.

The best place to shop for comics! They have everything in easy to find places and it's a huge selection! Employees are awesome! They are super helpful and make you feel welcome! Stop by for all your comic book needs!

Yes they do! Definitely give them a call if you have any questions. Their staff is really good!
Sure did
We do offer a risk free guarantee on single issues occasionally where you can buy a comic, read it, and if you don’t like it bring it back and exchange it for something else or get a refund. But we always want you to love what you read! If we ever recommend something and you don’t like it we will work with you to trade it out for something else
We do buy expensive cards, it just depends on what it is. Adrian is our primary card buyer. He works tomorrow (Thursday) at the Phoenix store, so give him a call and he can give you and idea if it is something we would be interested in
We would be happy to look at these for you. We do buy all the time, but it just depends on what it is. We can give you ideas of other avenues to sell your comics if we don’t think we can make you an offer that is worthwhile
Any location has the ability to request books from others so while their selection is limited they are able to either order mangas or request them be moved from other samurai locations. The one in Phoenix Has The Largest Manga Selection.
Masks are required. Social distancing within the store. There is hand sanitizer as you walk in and at the registers. Sneeze shields are at each register. Employees do a temperature check at start of shift. Cleaning and sanitizing is done throughout the day. We also offer curbside service and can ship to anyone who is uncomfortable with coming in.
Yes we do! Is there anything in particular you are looking for?
We do Pokemon league on Wednesday’s at our Phoenix store at 6 pm, and on Sundays at our Glendale store at 2 pm. We do occasionally host prerelease tournaments and other events. Those are posted to our Facebook page, and can also usually be found on the Pokémon USA website
We do buy some Pokemon cards Tina, but it depends on what it is. Right now we are mainly looking for rare cards from the most recent few sets. It's always good to call ahead to see if we have a Pokemon buyer on staff before bringing them in. We also trade for Pokemon cards.
Yes we do buy Comics! Our manager Justin is the main buyer at that location. He would be happy to look at what you have and see if it is anything we can use
I am sorry but we do not buy Pokémon singles at that location. We do purchase them at our Phoenix store since we have an active Pokémon league at that location. There isn’t a lot that we pay cash on, however. We mostly are looking for foil rates from the most recent few sets. You can always call the store to see if a buyer is on staff ahead of time and they can give you an idea over the phone if you have cards we are currently buying. Adrian is our primary buyer. He is usually in the shop Thursday-Sunday. The phone number for that location is 602-265-8886
We do carry You-Gi-Oh! at the Mesa store, but we aren't currently running any tournaments at that location. Both our Phoenix and Glendale locations hold weekly tournaments. Those 2 stores have a much better stock of singles as well, and if they have something you need that the and the Mesa store doesn't they would be happy to transfer it for you.
Yes, they have a good selection. Their Mesa location has even more.
Thanks to everyone who replied! We do magic tournaments every Friday night, and occasionally on the weekends as well. Yugioh has mostly been just free play (we have tables set up all week long for gaming) with the occasional sneak peek or special event. If there is ever anything you want to see us run let us know. If we can get enough players we would love to run it
We do not have any pogs currently. Occasionally we see some come in in collections, but we haven’t see any lately.
Yes we do! Call the store to check on stock. If the Mesa store doesn't have the issue(s) you are looking for we can see if one of our other store locations have them, and if not can try to track them down from one of our retail partners across the country.
They have some, but it is limited at this location ... However, they have two sister stores in the valley that will send stuff over, so it's worth the drop in ... Really great and helpful staff ... They'll even special order you something if they can't find it
