She helped us with some real breakthrough health concerns we had with our child that regular allopathic doctors kept missing.

Dr. Leah is nothing short of a miracle worker. She is knowledgeable, curious, and authentic. She has personally walked in the same shoes as her patients so is able to approach holistic healing from a place of not only "evidence based" medicine but also experience based medicine. I spent decades with allopathic and then functional medicine doctors who either were no help or gave advice that made my chronic conditions even worse. Dr. Leah quickly and efficiently addressed my specific case and got me moving in the right direction and feeling better almost immediately. I'd likely have saved tens of thousands of dollars had I met her five years sooner. She employs the best of both Western medical technology and time honored Eastern healing traditions to create a comprehensive wellness plan that addresses immediate discomforts while tipping the balance of the body back to homeostasis for the long term. On top of being an amazing doctor, Dr. Leah is a beautiful soul who works from a place of genuine compassion.

Dr. Leah is the most amazing and caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working on my health with. Not only does she listen intently she is encouraging. She is incredibly smart about all the systems in the body. She respects my wishes and views on what I want to put in my body. I love that she doesn't push pills to solve everything and that she looks deep to find the root cause of your symptoms. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in her work.

Dr. Leah changed my life! After years of feeling let down and brushed off by providers, Dr. Leah took the time to listen, advise and create a plan of care that actually worked. She's continuously there for me for those last-minute questions or concerns and her attention to detail within her aftercare instructions is unlike any doctor you will come across. It is evident that she wholeheartedly cares about her patients and that she takes great pride in her work. So happy to have finally found my forever doctor!

Yes, upon moving to the Arcadia neighborhood, we rebranded and renamed the business from Full Circle Health Solutions to Luminary Natural Wellness. You can expect the same personal care, just with a new name and even nicer office!
At Luminary Natural Wellness, we offer Functional Health Coaching from our naturopath. This allows you to have a naturopath on your team even if you don't live in Arizona. As a Functional Health Coaching client you can expect the same in-depth care from a naturopath, but just can be given a diagnosis and classic treatment. However, your naturopath can still recommend labs, interpret your case and make naturopathic recommendations. You can then take there recommendations to your PCP (Primary Care Physician) for approval. Contact us today to learn more.
Yes! You have a couple of options here. If you are looking to work with a naturopath from Luminary, you can do so as a patient which requires you to see the physician once per year to maintain the relationship legally. The remainder of the year, you can be seen virtually (phone or video). Even from afar, our physician can order and interpret labs as well as diagnose and treat you. If you are not able to visit us in Arizona to be seen as a patient once annually, you can still have a naturopath on your team. It is for this very reason that we offer Functional Health Coaching by our naturopath. The difference between being a patient and health coaching client is that the physician cannot diagnose you and therefore cannot "treat" you. Instead, your naturopath can interpret labs and study your case as usual followed by making helpful recommendations, similar to a normal treatment plan. You can then take those recommendations to your local PCP (Primary Care Physician) for approval.
At Luminary, our motto is Educate, Empower, Create. The main role of a physician is to educate their patients so that they can live a healthy, sustainable life. At Luminary, we are constantly trying to embody this idea of education to help heal our community as efficiently and effectively as possible. As a result, we offer Group Educational Visits. This means that our physicians can present educational material to any team, group, family, or business. We can educate on nearly any health-related topic. Contact us today to see if we would be a good fit for you.
We charge $299 per hour to see our naturopathic physician. When you are a patient at Luminary, you can expect your first visit to be the longest (1 hour or more) as we do a comprehensive intake and exam. After that, your follow-up visit can be in-person or virtual and are often shorter in length and a lower cost to you.
Luminary Natural Wellness is located in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ. Specifically, you can find us in the Atrium Complex at 36th Street and Campbell Ave. We are in Suite 122.
Initially, depending on the severity of a person’s state of imbalance, a patient may be prescribed medication and/or supplements/botanicals to help bring the body back into balance. However, as a person is able to change diet and lifestyle, the goal is to wean people off of not just medications, but most supplements as well. 1-3 supplements may be required long term based on the individual’s needs. Example: high performance athletes or business owners are under more stress so their body will require more high potency vitamins and herbs to keep them optimized.
Yes, our Naturopathic Doctors utilize genetic information to create individualized lifestyle, nutrition and supplement recommendations to optimize health and wellness. Markers that are commonly looked for include MTHFR, COMT, MAOA, and Celiac disease. Our doctors also look into many more markers that affect the immune system, neurotransmitters, nutrient utilization and metabolism. Through this knowledge, we can better support individuals’ goals in the context of mood regulation, immune system regulation, weight loss, hormone balance.
“Functional medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness. Functional Medicine Doctors realize the importance of an individualized approach to disease based on the evolving research in nutritional science, genomics and epigenetics. Functional Medicine Doctors find ways to apply these new advances in the clinic to address root causes of disease using low-risk interventions that modify molecular and cellular symptoms to reverse the drivers of disease.” - IFM
“Naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care profession that combines the wisdom of nature with the rigors of modern science. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained as primary care providers who diagnose, treat and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, while addressing disease and dysfunction at the level of body, mind and spirit.” - AANMC
Yes, one of our goals at Full Circle Health Solutions is to empower patients to take their health into their own hands through education, behavior change, lifestyle modification and nutrition counseling. As a person optimizes their health, their need for medication goes down. Once a patient is determined to be “stable” through history, physical exam and lab findings, a protocol for tapering off of medications can be created.
The ability to write prescriptions is based on the state legislation that the Naturopathic Physician is practicing in. In the state of Arizona, Naturopathic Doctors are able to write prescriptions and obtain their DEA license if they desire to prescribe controlled substances in addition to common prescriptions.
Yes, Telehealth is an option that many patients use. We prefer to see patients in-person for our first visit to perform a physical exam, however virtual is an option. If the patient has a Primary Care Physician and is using our services solely as adjunctive care or is using us as a “Health Coach”, no in-person visits are required.
Yes. In the State of Arizona and other licensed states, Naturopathic Physicians are considered Primary Care Doctors. They are able to diagnose using medical history, physical exams, labs and imaging. They are able to treat diseases using prescription medications, nutrition, botanicals, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, cupping, regenerative joint injections like prolotherapy and other forms of alternative therapies.
Most insurances do not cover Naturopathic Doctors in the state of Arizona. Insurance can cover certain labs, imaging and prescriptions ordered by the physician. Some insurances will re-imburse patients if the patient provided a superbill. The patient will have to discuss this option with their insurance company. We do accept HSA and cash.
