Dr. Baraz has been my endocrine doctor for many years. I have always been treated respectfully and with dignity. Thank you so much for keeping me well, Dr. Baraz.

I fully appreciate the attention and care I receive from Dr. Baraz. As her patient for a number of years now I've found her open to listening to my issues, forthcoming with suggestions about ways to resolve my concerns, and helpful with info about possible assistance re: medical care. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Baraz and always look forward to our encounters.

The older woman who answers the phone at this office needs to find a new job where she doesn’t interact with people. She is so incredibly rude and unhelpful. I’m appalled.

Giving five stars because the ten that Julie Kocemba (the Nurse Practitioner) deserve balance out the zero that the front desk would get. When you enter, you choose between two receptionists: the one whose "tablescape" is a curated array of Crosses, Bible Quotes and Pinterest ideas or the one who is mean and sarcastic right off the bat. Go with the mean, sarcastic one on the right; I've tried both and at least she gets her job done--the one with the little Bible village will literally invite you to go sit down but never actually check you in, so you need to go up again and talk to someone else 10 minutes later. This was all after a month of trying to schedule after my referral had come through and finally going over in person to get it taken care of. But moving onto the incredible nurse and ally that is Julie. I wish I'd gone sooner! She was warm and kind. She was very informative and it was clear that she knew so much about the treatment options, caveats, and process of introducing a new med. What most struck me is how much time and effort she put into advocating for me, right off the bat. Medication denial? She fights for it with the insurance company. Not sure about a genetic issue? She literally went to the blood lab and facilitated the test I needed. Emotional about medical distress? She didn't blink an eye. Are you fat? You won't find shame, character attacks, assumptions, or inappropriate treatment suggestions from her whatsoever. Dr. Baraz and Julie, if you're reading this, please consider moving. I had such a positive experience with Julie that I'd literally help you haul boxes...but I mean, as a fellow healthcare provider, I know that's not a thing, so it would have to be an office-warming present instead. But in the meantime, thank you for having the EHR portal so I don't have to deal with those front desk staff.
