First time going to the retail shop. Great finds, variety of things you can find. The store manager Ms. Janet was super nice, and also very kind staff.

Sorry, the demand for financial assistance is great and the phone lines do get busy. You only need to call, though, if you are needing assistance to pay rent, mortgage or utilities, and you must live in one of WHAM's service zip code (see whamministries.org). Call at 10am to make a phone appointment and continue calling if the line appears busy. You can walk in for food assistance, employment services and most other programs they offer. Financial Assistance is the only program that needs a previous appointment by phone.

77042 i don't understand can you help or not. I am homeless living in a room and paying every week. So you can you help me
I consulted with the food pantry Director, and unfortunately we cannot accept wild game. We appreciate you thinking of WHAM. God Bless
Exceptions are sometimes made, but no, that is not one of WHAM's financial assistance zipcodes. Call 211 to see what charity helps 77022.
What about rental assistance for 77502
It is not one of the zip codes they serve, but exceptions are sometimes made. Look on their website for their requirements.
No not at all but if you work during the week you can get a copy og your paycheck and go there once a month for food for your 👪
One a month , but i understand that they are only serving 50 people a day. So you may have to go back several time to get service.
10am to 1:00pm
You register once in their Apricot database and that is all.
Tomorrow is Wednesday they will be giving out tomorrow be there at 9 a.m. inline first come first serve until it is all gone
No, they don't have showers at their facility.
Could be because they are extremely busy at this time delivering food daily through their drive through food pantry. I dont think that they are actually in their offices as they normally would be because of the pandemic. If youre curious about the food distribution, I believe it is M- Sat. I know for a fact that the food distribution is from 9am to 11am daily. But cars begin to line up around 7am. Hope this helps you
Tuesday and Fridays 1:00-4:00pm Saturday 11:00am-3:00pm
Yes, bring bith certificate, ss for both of you, they will help you
They help just have to get throu the phone call first they r truly great ppl
look for food distribution near your area and they give you fast
e
Yes, but appointments are no longer made over the phone. It is now a walk-in, first come, first serve system for financial appointments (rent or utilities). The first 7-10 people with complete paperwork are helped per day with financial assistance. Clients can start lining up at 9am at WHAM. Those needing food are all helped the same day, but they must arrive between 9am and 2pm.
They will give you emergency food if you're out of ZIP code like three times a year.
West Houston Assistance Ministries is not a church and is not open on Sundays. It is a nonprofit charitable organization and is only open Monday thru Saturday.
Arrive any day from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm, and bring documentation such as identification of the residents in your home, proof of income, etc.
You can line up about 8am then you will get a number based on your placement in line.
You have to call at 10 and keep calling
You are REQUIRED to have photo id, ssn card, late notices of bills...(make sure account # is affixed to the notice). And, a good solid explanation of how you will pay next months bill(s). If you are receiving some sort of government assistance provide that as well. It'll make your case go alot easier. Very nice and professorial agency. But, bare patience as you are the one needing the assistance... You will be verified that's for sure. #socialservicesatwork
No only utilities or rent if you have an apartment already
Today, Jan. 16 we are closed due to weather conditions
That's not a service that WHAM provides, unfortunately. There might be other organizations who might be able to help with that. You might want to check United Way's 211 website to find out.
Depending where you are at try cam or wham they are both foodbanks
