I graduated a 6 month program at the salvation army arc in california. My deal was prescription pain killers and cigarettes. Both of which I managed to completely quit through the help of my fellow addicts and the salvation army. Dont feed into people calling it slave labor. You get what you put into the program. Surrender who you were and rebuild yourself with only the things worth keeping. You have to pass a drug screen on arrival, so be prepared by going through the brunt of your withdrawls at home. I came from a very dark place. If youre struggling with addiction right now as youre reading this whether youre high or withdrawling, remember this. The withdrawls do stop and it wont kill you. You might feel like dieing, but youll make it. Keep your heads up to all the addicts and family members of. The addict is never completely gone. The only way to go when you hit the bottom is up 🤘😎
