Edit: 7/30/22. So….I am breaking my lease and moving out of here. THANK GOD!! I am laying on my bed listening to my neighbors talk, and it’s like they are in the next room in my own Apt. It’s frankly disturbing to hear their conversation so clearly when they are speaking at normal levels. I can LITERALLY hear every word they are saying. NOISE, NOISE, NOISE!!! I’m not sure if these even can be classified as walls. This is the absolute worst apartment I have lived in when it comes to noise. $2000 a month and I can clearly hear my next door neighbors speaking in regular level voices. No exaggeration, this is a horrible situation to be in. They charge ALOT to end your lease early too. For me, it is over $4000 plus rent to move out of this poorly constructed apartment complex. You might not completely understand what I am saying……Your neighbors will hear what you are saying in casual conversation, your music, whatever normal sounds come from your place will be heard by others. I am writing this while listening to the resident above me stomp around; It sounds like someone in combat boots marching on an uncarpeted floor. The construction is so bad that the ceiling fan cables shake due to vibrations from above. The people below me have dogs that always bark loudly, even late into the night at times (1-3 am). I have complained but rarely do my emails receive a response from the office with no follow-ups. If I had an extra $8000+ ($4000 lease termination fee, $2000 last month rent, $700 movers & supplies, $2000 rent in new place, Etc) I’d literally move out of here today.

We moved here 1.6 years ago. From day one the leasing process was super easy. We were welcomed like family..we always lived in a house where we raised our kids. This next phase is empty nester phase. Living here was supposed to be temporary however when the housing market spiked we decided to hold off and ride the wave. Living here is like living in a resort. The neighbors are neighborly and the staff is willing to act. From maintenance to trash crew they work efficiently and truly want to ensure you are happy and safe. police officers in-house is amazing and convenient! It will be sad whenever we leave. Living at the Rocklyn is like a vacation you never left! It’s the best apt experience we have ever had! The convenience of downtown living is super fun and living a more healthy life style presents itself with walking trails, a drive in , and access to ride bikes or walk along the trinity river trails! There is happening spots you can walk to downtown ot take an Uber to 7th street- and bar hop! There is no shortage of fun!!!! You are welcome in advance! Rocklyn Rocks! Charlie and Rosie Moreland
