I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience at Lark! Excellent food! Excellent service! This was the best meal I have enjoyed in quite a while. Highlights... * Small plates are great to try a bunch of dishes. We shared three small plates as appetizer among 4 diners. * I loved that they cleared the table between apps and dinner. Our table was kept clean throughout the meal. New silver and plates at each course. * Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended and app we had not considered. We went with it and it was delicious! * Even the entrees were well portioned. By that I mean an actually appropriate portion. Not an Olive Garden MASSIVE plate of food. I left feeling like I had eaten many delicious items but was not gluttonously stuffed. The prices at Lark make this a "special occasion" restaurant. But I guarantee it will be special if you choose to dine at Lark.

Although we were one of, if not the last seating of the night at 9:30PM on a Saturday night, we never felt rushed and the service was spot-on ... waitstaff was there when you needed them and not there when you didn't. ;-) The food was impeccably presented and all incredibly delicious including the raw oysters topped with a Tomato Mignonette, Pickled Mustard Seed and Herb Oil. Normally I prefer to dress my own oysters, but the house mignonette was delicious and not overdone with just a small, perfect dollop on each oyster; escargot in a small pot of Vichyssoise butter served with a perfectly lightly toasted baguette perfect for dipping in the escargot's butter sauce. I had the Grilled Trout for a main and it was fantastic with some siracha on the plate if you wanted to spice it up a bit. Overall, our experience was perfect and we look forward to going back soon! Thankfully, we live nearby! :-)

Lark is instantly my new favorite restaurant. Every dish was unique and absolutely delicious. We had the Gnocco Frito, Ricotta Dunderi, the Trout, and the Dorade. I could go on for awhile about how incredible and interesting each of those dishes was but you just have to try it. Great cocktails. The boule noir, the old fashioned and The Hemingway daiquiri were top notch. We also had a classic margarita which was almost perfect but a bit on the tart side for our taste. Our server was accommodating and brought out simple syrup for us to adjust. I think just a 1/4oz more simple syrup and it’d be perfect. They suggest ordering from each of the 3 courses, though these are not exactly small plates. You could probably share the first two courses and get your own entree, but the food is so good you might not want to.

This has been my favorite restaurant of all time. The price is affordable, atmosphere is romantic and relaxing, food is phenomenal, customer service is top notch. 10/10

I don't believe there is an outside bar, but seating at the bar has been available but crowded most nights.
They have a liquor license, it is not BYOB.
