Expensive desk. Wrong item shipped. Cord for electric controller too short. Not all tools enclosed. Called. Got "We are not taking customer calls at this time." I just paid more for a desk than I did for my fridge. Assembly isn't even close to the "5 minutes" advertised. Getting returned. Do not buy. My old desk cost $39.95. If a company is going to charge $600 for a desk, BACK IT UP WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Accidents and mistakes happen. But to not be able to get someone on the phone is bad business. Do not buy this desk.

My experience started off very positive. I setup a time to tour the local showroom and Jake, who hosted me, was very thorough and professional. I ordered a Varidesk setup for my home office and basically order the entire setup with desk, chair, and accessories. I placed the order a day or two after my tour. In total, order 9 items and when I received my tracking number, I had tracking for a total of 9 packages. On the day of delivery, I did receive 9 packages however, the chair was not one of them. The desk actually comes in two separate packages so I was shorted the chair and this is where my problems began. I have tried getting someone on the phone to discuss the missing item for over a week now and it's virtually impossible. The one time I got someone on the phone, she told me the chair was showing as delivered that same day. When I got home to check they had sent me another lamp which is a duplicate of the one I had already received. Based on my expectation of receiving a chair from Varidesk, I sold my original chair and now I have this new desk setup with no chair to sit it. Each time I call the customer service line it says they are not taking calls due to a team meeting and this is always during their normal business hours. There is also a chat function they offer which doesn't work and the 24 hour response time to email inquiries is non-existent. I am happy with the products I have received so far but this issue with the chair has not been positive at all and would make me reconsider doing business with or recommending Vari in the future. If I do not have the chair delivered or a meaningful update soon I will be forced to file a claim with my bank to recover my funds.

When I went inside the location they have desks that can accommodate pretty much all types of heights.the building itself is open so no actual closed cubicles except for a few offices. Hope this helps.
