Beautiful park, natural, private sites. Recommend bicycle as long walk to anything. Ranger was rude. On line booking gave us to small site. He gave us one, followed a ? Volunteer? In golf cart through narrow, twisty access roads ( easier direct route would have been park public roads). To site we had to jocky along rather deep ditch and between trees to get into. It was also 3/4 of park away from other party we were camping with. We were told if we didn't fit we could spend night in parking lot and then we have to go. Ranger was less then professional and volunteer was none to polite. The entire 4 day stay we walked by multiple easier access sites much closer to our other party that remained unoccupied. Lots of cats roaming park which we had never seen. Very healthy racoon population from number of paw prints we saw each morning (sorry guys no food left outside but apparently they checked every night). Saw large rattle snake first day on our site so heed the rattler warning on their site. Waterway is beautiful. Park was quiet, well except for lots of frogs singing :). Can see stars. The park is a 10. Ranger and volunteer a 1

Great park Most sites are full shade. Very private sites. Kayak rentals at Outpost. Trails all over. Just 6 miles to beach Atlantic Ocean. Ormond Beach has lots of great Restaurants only 5 miles away. We are here for 5 days. No mosquitoes, but we have Therm Cell which keeps them away from our outside area if needed. Overall very relaxing and beautiful.

No mosquitoes in when we camped in March. Shady, private sites mostly. Clean restrooms. Negative is road noise.

Love it here. We go twice a year. Clean restroom or bathrooms.. Lots of lots to choose from. And my daughters love kayaking. On the last day we go to Osmond beach to see the sunrise. Oh can take your dog to.

Friends of Tomoka Facebook page (images). It won't let me post a screenshot ☹️.
A trailer site at Tomoka is 24 dollars a night for a trailer/RV with water and electricity.
Lots of fishing and seeing beautiful oak trees
Usually sunset, which makes it around 7pm
Not at campground I think bait store in park has wifi
