Come see the amish experience (amish target included next door). Just go out to a rural area of Pennsylvania and you'll get a more genuine amish experience than this. Their BBQ is delicious though

It was a nice tour. I just didn’t realize it wasn’t an actual working farm so everything was staged for how their life would be so if we were on an actual farm.

Yes, we are open 7 days a week! However, due to their religious beliefs Amish businesses are not open. Sundays are a beautiful calm day in the countryside. You’ll learn just as much on a Sunday if you decide to take our bus tour.
Absolutely, and the bus-tour makes stops at several local amish shops.
We hope you had an amazing time!

We do have an Amish man named Isaac who sells baked goods on our farm. He's not here everyday but you can find him on our farm most Saturdays during the summer. We suggest you buy a shoofly pie and a couple whoopie pies! There are all sorts of Amish bakeries throughout Lancaster County. Try, Bird in Hand Bakery in the town of Bird in Hand.
Our tour guides are not Amish because most Amish would not feel comfortable talking about their way of life and religious traditions. However, we do have Amish employees and we support the Amish community. During the summer months and on special events we have several different Amish artisans on the farm. We also have Amish made items in our gift shop. 90% of our tour guides are local to Lancaster and many have personal relationships with the Amish.
The buggy rides are a seasonal offering that is an additional fee from the tours. Tickets must be purchased through the buggy driver, cash only. Please see our event calendar for availability.

Hello Sea! We do not have tours in Spanish for the public. But we have two options for those who speak Spanish. For the tour of the house we have information written in Spanish. When they buy the tickets for the house they ask for information in Spanish. We also have maps in Spanish for the farm tour. If there is a group of 15 people or more you can call us and make a reservation. We have a couple of guides who speak Spanish. You can make a reservation with a Spanish-speaking guide. Call 717-394-6185
We have wheelchair accessible buses. Our 15 acre farm is mostly wheelchair accessible. (most of the paths are paved) The only part of our visit that is NOT wheelchair accessible is the second half of the guided house tour. The second half of the guided house tour goes upstairs.
Yes! We have a dinner tour that goes to various Amish families for dinner. Contact us form more information!
Yes! We are pet friendly. We allow all dogs (and cats!) that are on leashes to visit the farm, ride on the bus and enter the house.
You can park in any of the parking spot in front of, beside of and behind our farmhouse. It is free parking. We also have enough space for big motor coaches and RVS!
Our buses travel 25 miles through the Amish Countryside and during the tour they make two stops at Amish businesses. (when available)
2395 Covered Bridge Drive Lancaster, PA 17602. All our tours operate from this location.
For children ages 5-11 we recommend both our HOUSE and BUS tour! These tours are both educational and entertaining. Included with both tickets is our 15-acre farm where kids can meet all our farm animals, ride on an Amish scooter, visit an Amish school, see a covered bridge and play on our playground. For children under 5 we typically do not recommend our guided tour, as young children may not have the attention span yet to make it through all 40 minutes of the presentation. For guests that have toddlers we offer a FARM ONLY ticket.
Garnett, You can buy Amish goat milk shop in our gift shop. The gift shop is open during our operating hours and there is no admission fee to enter.
Leonisa, we are an educational farm museum. We offer two different types of tours and we also have an original Amish farm that dates back to 1715. The first tour is a 40 minute guided tour that would allow you to walk through each room of our Amish house while learning about Amish history, religion, and culture. The second tour is a 90 minute countryside bus tour that would take you through the Amish countryside and stop at two Amish businesses. On our 15 acre Amish farm you can enter an Amish one-room schoolhouse, ride on Amish scooters, visit a tobacco shed, meet all of our animals, see a covered bridge, etc. Check out our website for more tour information and prices!
We do not require payment before arrival. If you make a reservation online, we do not take payment beforehand. We accept all major credit cards and cash.
