Great experience! Mrs. Sheila and lady at Welcome Center (sadly didn’t get her name) were extremely nice. We had a little difficulty with getting in touch with the corporate reservation desk but the Hideaway staff immediately took care of us. We were just in town for baseball so didn’t get to enjoy the amenities but everything was nice and clean and will definitely look into membership for future visits.

Friendly people! Many organized activities. Clean very well taken care of. Beautiful outdoor pool. Large heated indoor pool with attached hot tub. Club house has ping pong, pool table, video games, and a military memorial wall. Fishing ponds, and grounds are well taken care of. I would definitely recommend to friends, and family. I just got a small drone and wanted to take some pictures for this review, but after flying it in areas where no one would be In the picture I was told..NO DRONES ALLOWED!! So I won't be sharing the beautiful pictures of the facilities. If NO DRONES had been on the long list of rules it would save Members of the camp the embarrassing scene made by management...LOL

Had a great visit. The grounds were clean and tidy. Loved the fishing ponds and caught and released quite a few including catfish,smallmouth and sunfish. Enjoyed watching the birds fish the pond as well. Housekeeping in the cottage we reserved needed a little attention . But the resort is located on a good road just off major highway that takes you to Houma, Lafayette and Baton Rouge easily.

Yes - we love having dogs at our resorts. They just need to be on a leash or in a pen if they are outside.

Agreeing with William but tell them Roger sent you. LOL just joking tell them William. Personally I am very happy with my membership with OCP. Yes expense if you don't use it but worth it in the long run if you use it.

Hideaway Ponds is a Private Membership Outdoor Resort and part of the Ocean Canyon Properties (OCP) Membership System. They don't have nightly rates since you have to be a Member or Guest of a Member to use the Resorts. They offer a Free Visit to learn about Memberships. OCP has 8 Private Membership Outdoor Resorts spanning across the Southcentral & Southeast Unites States. OCP offers Members a wide variety of luxurious, fully furnished Cottages, Cabins, and other Rental Units, or the option of Free Full Hookup Camping for anyone who brings their own RV. Their Resorts can accommodate the biggest Class A & Class C Motorhomes, 5th Wheels, and Travel Trailers. OCP Members can bring guests and it is encouraged to bring family as well.
