I worked for Platinum Security Services for a major soccer event ( FC Barcelona vs Juventus) in Dallas, Texas on July 27th as a usher and had a serious medical emergency due to lack of care. My assigned shift was 4:30pm-11:30pm and when I arrived to the location which was Fair Park. We were offered no water and told to stay at our post. It was 104 degrees. The event is outside. I was on the 3rd floor. No one from management checked on us other than making sure we were at our post. I asked a manager for water 2 separate times and he said he couldn’t “find any” yet, the 1st main floor is full on concession stands. Around 8:00pm, My mouth had completely dried and blotches of blurriness started to happen with my sight. I immediately left and headed to find water at the 1st floor. I HAD TO WAIT IN A LONG LINE TO GET A $6 WATER TO PREVENT A PASSOUT FROM AN EVENT I WAS WORKING. As soon as I got the water, my sight got worst. I was drinking it and I threw it up immediately. I had to get some guy on a golf cart to take me back to the main building (Briscoe building) to get more supply of water and air. I was not able to complete my whole shift. I signed out at 9:38pm. This company does not value people. Please do not work here. I literally had a pre-heat stroke. If it was not for the kind man on the golf cart (That did not work for Platinum) that saw the bad shape I was in, I probably would of passed out without return. Do not work here.
