This zoo beats the Houston zoo. It seemed so much more like a natural forest habitat with a lot of shaded areas. We saw pretty much all the animals we wanted to see. The Dino exhibit was super fun for the kiddos. It had all kinds of different dinosaurs, we rode on a small trolly and the tour guide talked to us about the dinosaurs and made a few jokes. Loved it.

We’ve had passes the past couple of years and I would say they have been the best investment! While my teenager gets bored with going frequently, our little guy loves it every single time! I have to say each trip is a different experience and well worth the return visits. The mix of animals on display is vast and varies, if one species isn’t feeling like being out for show there are plenty of others that are and the next time you go the tables turn. So like I said, it’s a different experience each time. Right now they have the Dino Safari adventure as an add on for a limited time and as a family full of dinosaur fans, we loved it! Worth the extra $ to go through. You ride through a great display of static and animatronic dinosaurs! Highly recommend that you visit this amazing zoo at least once if not 20 times!

LOVED!!! The Dallas Zoo was well maintained! My husband and I went on a little date to the zoo and it was AWESOME! We went when they had the lights as well during the holiday. I will have pictures of both. They animals were really pretty. We fed the giraffes and the animals were very attentive and playful. We would DEFINITELY go back again and We would DEFINITELY recommend!

It was an awesome Zoo. I've been to several zoos from San Diego to New York and this ranks up with some of the best. I really enjoyed how they made it an experience and not just "here is an animal. Here is another animal". The food was surprisingly good. Had all the highlights you hope to see from lions to primates. Would highly recommend.

Parking for each vehicle is $10. Adult ticket is $15. Child ticket (age 5 to 11) is $12.
Morning is usually best time as most of the animals are out for enrichment and food.
The discount days are always really crowded, and parking is awful. They have dollar days twice a year, and cheaper admission in the winter. If you have a big family, and are going more than once, it's definitely worth it to get a zoo membership: free parking, includes everyone in your immediate family.
Ty for the update how much are they too rent
Adults (age 12-64)$15.00 Children (age 3-11)$12.00 Seniors (age 65 up)$12.00 (age 2 and under)FREE Parking 10.00
Yup, just no alcoholic beverages. But they have a place that sells beer on site, near the eagles.
