Was trying to find a korean restaurant whose kitchen is open past 9.15 PM to no avail. Closest was Koryo, at 20 mins away. Craving for soup and the ajumma was pushing me to get spicy galbi jjim. I would go for beef soondobu but they only had seafood soondobu. I went for the spicy galbi jjim after she told me she was gonna cut the meat for me, lol. I eat a lot of spicy food, but when they say spicy...they mean it. I couldnt finish half the soup, which i always do, because it was so spicy. Clears up your sinus for sure. All the staff were really friendly.

No.
No buffet.
It was actually rice water with ginger, cinnamon, and sugar. Unless you order something specific, that's what they bring.
I'm not sure, although they can probably tell you when you ask.
Not doubting your perception, but that may have been a cultural thing. I find the place to be very authentic, which sometimes includes some social distance, especially if you aren't fluent in Korean (which I'm not). You might find a warmer reception and similar food quality at the Treehouse on Goodnight. Love me some Korean food!
No it's not. It offers several meat kinds and on that premise is not guaranteed to be halal approved.
Sorry! I don't know!
