My mother and I traveled to Dallas for her spine surgery. Home Helpers was able to help me arrange last-minute care for my mother who was having complications post-op. They were quick and efficient with their care and communication. In particular, our caregiver, Henny, went above and beyond with her performance. First off, she was very communicative and thoughtful and made my mother and I feel like we were her family! She was so extremely personable, it made the awkwardness of my mother’s new care transition smooth. She was very attentive to both my mother and myself, and our needs. At Home Helpers Home Care, our Caregivers are trained to handle anything. Our detailed training curriculum and ongoing training make sure they are always fully prepared to care for their clients. We also offer our Home Helpers University, which not only provides ongoing training through courses and webinars, but offers our Caregivers the opportunity to earn certifications of Specialist, Expert, and Master, each of which differentiates the skill sets of each of our staff.
We can place a Caregiver as soon as you need one. All we need to do is assess your situation, get an understanding of your needs, and then match you up with a Caregiver who can be there for you on day one. For those times when unexpected situations present themselves, we have our Rapid Care Response system for quick service.
Caregivers can assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, and feeding) light housekeeping, laundry and linen washing, transportation, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, doctor visits and much more.
Home Helpers provides 24/7 care on an hourly or live-in basis. Care can be provided in as little as one hour per day, or up to 24/7.
