My stay here was excellent. It’s been about a month ago. My fiancé and I stayed here and yet we have been here several times …. the staff and management has improved several thousand percent!! The little things are being addressed and the hospitality is way better. Clean rooms, clean linen, clean floors little more tending to the bathrooms (needs a full shower door) but overall they are making a Huge come back!!!! #MidlothianProud shot out to the District Manager.

I got charged some rewards fee on top of the room fee. I didn't use rewards. I used my military ID and somehow didn't get the military rate. Asked the front desk about it and they said it's a Marriot issue and I have to waste my time to call them to get it returned? The bed also had weird stains upon entry. Had to call the front desk to get new sheets before unpacking.

I walked in to a huge sheet of plastic and while I completely understand re-models, my room was even worse. The wall paper in the bathroom was just hanging off the wall and there were makeup smudges scattered across the walls as well. There was only 1 pod of coffee and ZERO anything to stir with. I also use a bit of cream/sugar and require more than the 1 provided packet. When I arrived back around 9pm, I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes yelling "Hello" to the back. I wanted to ask for some coffee, creamer and stir stick. No one ever showed up. I walked across to the breakfast area and grabbed a packet of sugar and a stir stick. There was no milk in the small jug and only powdered creamer so I thought I'd at least grab a water. That was locked up! I could've just taken it from the store at front since no one was there..... I paid $250 for a bed and a toilet. There was no lotion, cookies, welcome snack, water, nada for my $250. Why bother being a Rewards member when even the Wi-Fi is public?? When I called down for the password, I was told just click onto the public one. WOW. Marriott is really going downhill. Cannot believe I spent $250 for that. Never again.

Hotel is currently undergoing some renovations but I didn't hear any noise while I was here and I was super happy about that. The pool was open as was the gym. The front receptionist and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. My room was clean and I love the beds that the courtyards have. They are so comfortable and easy to sleep in. The breakfast was also very good. I look forward to coming back here in the future!
