Good place for breakfast and brunch. Outdoor seating is perfect for Dallas weather. Service is descent and food is good. I ordered croissants with gravy and mimosa. Loved both of them. Overall had very good experience at black walnut cafe, would definitely go back.

We were utterly disappointed with a resent brunch visit on Sunday. Long lines were expected, but the poor service with no interest from the staff. Over an hour wait for our two sandwiches. And the portions and presentation was very poor. $13 for slice of bread and two eggs and no presentation is quite excessive. The Turkey sandwich was missing ingredients listed on the menu and was so dry. Definitely taking this place off our list.

Wonderful experience! Great happy hour! The wings were amazing, loved the pot stickers! The Manager Marvin greeted us with an incredible cheese cake surprise! Can’t wait to go back! Lisa the bartender was friendly and gave us excellent service!

You can order breakfast items any time of the day. Feel like eggs Benedict for dinner, no problem.
Masks mandatory, spacing between guests. Patio is the best weather permitting. They have heaters and fans w/mist on the patio.
They don't have a private room. I don't know what kind of food your looking for. But lambordis Italian place on MacArthur has a private room. So does Mattitos mexican grill in Irving. Did an event there at lambordis couple of years back, food was good and service was excellent. Good luck.
