Visited last week with my roommate. It was a fun experience overall, but I wish we could spend some more time on the trail. We registered for the 1 hour trail ride at 4pm, started about 20 mins late, and turned back in sometime cause one of the horses was tired. So we got to spend only about 30 mins on the trail. Otherwise it was an okay experience.

It was only a 45 minute ride!! We walked across the road and then on the side of the road, turned into a little turnaround, and came back the same way while cars passed us slowly thank goodness. Worst experience trail ride I’ve ever had and I go on at least 4 trail rides a year.

Google shortened my original review, reposting: Poor customer relations by trail guide. I observed her while waiting. I could tell she was in a mood based on her yelling at her coworker in front of guests. I felt it was very unprofessional when he didn't do anything wrong. I can't tell you her name, because she never introduced herself, nor did she ever ask ONCE what our names were. No one did. Just took my money and put us on a horse. Not even small talk to get to know us. There were no initial instructions prior to walking off the bench to the horses. Immediately got reprimanded for walking behind one of the multiple horses around. I couldn't help it.They're all moving around. It would have been nice to have a warning before being called to mount my horse. Was given no initial instructions on positioning ourselves on the horses. I never felt like I was leaning, but our guide did her best to let us know in a very frustrated tone. Of course, my son had a hard time directing his horse. He's never been on one. But our guide delivered instructions in the poorest manner. She had no patience. Didn't even try to fake it. I called it a day when I knew she had ruined our attempt at something potentially fun and I was fed up with her frustration being taken out on my son. Even while walking back to the front got yelled at for letting the horses eat grass while she was shutting the gate. AGAIN, this was information we could have used beforehand. We don't read minds - humans or horses.

I hosted my daughter's 3rd birthday here this past weekend and it was a great place to have a birthday party! The staff was friendly to work with before hand and all was set up and ready when we arrived on Saturday morning for set up. The kids all loved the activities and most even were brave enough to ride the horses. Highly recommend for kids parties!
