I have been using UPS for 3 years as the number 1 service when it comes to sending packages all over the country. I am spending more than $3000 dollars a month on shipping, I used to go to another UPS store because it was closer to my daily route, but a few months ago I started taking my packages to this store and the truth is that the service is lousy . There is a young girl working in that store, when she attends to me she is so lazy that she doesn't even help me to remove the packages from the scale so they don't pile up, apparently she doesn't care, just like the manager of that store who doesn't she has realized why she does that, apart from that, the girl even laughs in your face seeing that you are going through, work on separating the packages so that they do not pile up, instead of separating them and putting them behind the counter. The next time she does that, I'll make a direct complaint to UPS. It is the worst service that I have had in years as a UPS customer. I don't like to make complaints or leave bad reviews, but if they don't improve the service, I'd rather drive 10 more miles than go to this store.

Deserves 5 star. Loved my experience there. Will definitely go back! 🙂

From time to time, I find it necessary to use one of these UPS STORES around the city and they can be quite handy. My reason for being in the location at 9090 Skillman was to return an item purchased from Amazon. When I entered, I noticed a small line of about 5 people but it seemed to be moving swiftly...so far, so good. I helped a gentleman find the trash can which was underneath the workspace countertop and not clearly marked as such. During my brief wait, I spotted a greeting card that made me smile so I chose one to give to my sister. Next it was my turn at the counter where I presented the clerk, a fellow by the name of Jacob, with my package and stated my business. Jacob took the package with the UPS label affixed and attempted to scan it into the system. After several failed attempts, Jacob told me that I should ask Amazon for another label since this one was not scanning. I politely suggested that he manually type in the 15 digit tracking number listed under the unscannable barcode. Jacob said that he would but that somewhere down the line UPS would not manually type in the number and would just let it sit there. Now I am thinking, who does this guy think I am? I explained that it was not my problem if the label didn't scan, and that was the label provided. It was aggravating enough that I must venture out to a UPS Store in order to avoid a$15 fee UPS charges for merely coming out to my house for pick up and now I have to deal with an individual who seems loathe to type. I get that we live in the Age of Convenience but come on, man-do your job! Maybe a more gullible person would have fallen for Jacob's line, but not me. I mention this for the sake of our elderly persons who may be taken in. I am certain my experience was singular and not a reflection of UPS Stores in general. Often I have had excellent customer service at locations all over the city. Later that day, Amazon sent notification that they received my return and it was being processed despite the label being unscannable. I will continue to use UPS Stores as they are, on average, very helpful just maybe not this one.
