Scam, scam, scam. Only airline can contact you if on hold. No customs agent contacts a person about things being held by phone. You call the airline, or DHL, or FedEx, or etc. Sometimes if you have the right number from a broker or airline, you get the right number to call customs. Or from government website that shows the number you can call. CBP Customs in Dallas near the airport DFW.
