I was really interested in this school until I realized they were giving me the run around. First my tour was canceled and I was told she was supposed to cover for another instructor (on the day they’re closed) then they never reached back out to me. Then I called the school and i was told the instructor I was looking for was there and that she’d be put on the phone to speak with me. When the receptionist came back to the phone she told me she’d call me when the instructor arrived. It didn’t make sense but I realized they weren’t interested in having me there. I’m glad I didn’t spend my hard earned money somewhere where I wasn’t even acknowledged. I was contacting because I wanted to get started on my classes as soon as possible. Not sure why I wasn’t able to get any information even through email.

I had a horrible experience here. Although the girl who worked on my hair was amazing and polite, the instructor or woman in charge was very unpleasant and ruined my experience. When I get my hair done, I expect it to be a good experience. This is my time to have some self-care and relax. I should not have to endure a rude, unprofessional woman during my self-care time. The student let me know her name was “Mrs. V.” Upon first being near her, I could smell her body odor which was extremely off putting. I also noticed that she was dressed unprofessionally, this is upsetting because how can I trust your “expertise” with my beauty. My second encounter with her was while I was paying. Mrs. V was rude, short, and extremely unprofessional. It showed that the students did not enjoy being around her, it’s not fair to the students to have to be around the smell, attitude and lack of professionalism. The other instructors were well dressed, nice and didn’t smell like BO. I will not be back or ever recommend this school to potential customers or students because of the woman’s disgusting behavior and smell.

Completely 5/5 stars for Legacy! The academy itself has a very unique boutique style that I adore entirely and the staff is beyond amazing. The more prominent schools cannot add up to the value you would get here from the admissions process to graduation. They ensure all of their students are knowledgeable, proficiently skilled, and part of the Legacy family. As someone with over 20 years of experience in this industry, I would highly recommend Legacy Beauty Academy to anyone seeking licensure or advanced certification.

I did my research before coming to this school. I looked EVERYWHERE. I am very thankful that I I chose this school, I was having hard times in the beginning from a sudden death in my family and I felt like , no there’s no way I am going to finish this path in my life. Well the owner of the school Gaylene Green & Mrs. Williams, and Mrs Annette helped me figure it all out. I am so blessed to say that I am now a graduate from this school, and cannot thank them enough for all the support I got from them. This school was a blessing to my life, the atmosphere is so beautiful as well as the instructors, they are all very patient and understanding. Mrs doyal helped me with every questions I ever had as far as being hands on with clients here, she was always very patient in helping me with every step I needed to know. Hands down the best school in Houston anyone can attend too. Communication is key to life and I can say that’s exactly what I received in this school. Thank you so much I will miss being here. I love you all so much! And god bless y’all for giving me the opportunity to finish and had finding myself at the end of my journey here.
