Speaking on behalf of the things I learned this place is an awful to work. I’ve heard many things about places but this one lives up to the rumors. All of the packer ladies think they are entitled and that’s just the beginning. Many people do not last here because of the toxic environment. They claim to hear your voice but when you speak up for yourself HR does not get involved unless it’s the third strike. Bullying issues should not wait until the third time. Seems like victim blaming if you ask me. Even if they do “try” to “fix” the matter they tell the individuals the confidential conversation on who reported and why. If you are in over your head then maybe HR employees should not work there if it’s too much of a job for them. Constant harassment at the job. This is an huge problem at Wawona to the point where ladies push around (literally) other women like if they own the place. They believe their excluded from the harassment law. Acting high and mighty will not get you anywhere and pushing people is still considered appropriate touching. It happens without permission and should not be condone. People have boundaries and the workers ignore this a lot by actively tossing people’s lunch bags to make room for their own and themselves. Some of the packer ladies are over the age limit of speaking on younger women. When it’s a constant conversation it becomes the definition of bullying and harassment. Where do they get off by offending women when they are on the same team. Working women just trying to get ahead. It’s already bad enough women get berated by men everyday, speaking on that the security guard should kept to themselves. People are trying to work not get numbers. One last fault of the several issues this place has is the breaks. According to the California Law employees are required to have lunch and breaks during an 8 hour shift. Hearing from a friend their were times where breaks were given after a four hour mark. It’s expected to be given every two hour then lunch is at the sixth. It’s a big deal especially when the job runs an 12 hour work day. They need to keep up with the law and actually exceed to it rather than just handing false packets on how Prima Wawona is a good work place. It apparently has been inspected but it needs to happen soon and properly. It hides the way they treat their workers and what they let slide. OSHA needs to get involved immediately.

Terrible customer service. The lady who answers refuses to pass your call to anyone. then you call back and she wont answer the phone. Their organic nectarines are the poorest quality of any we have ever purchased. Over 20$ worth and we threw it all out. They are picked under ripe and never ripen properly. They turn brown and wrinkled and tasteless. The fact that they sell them at the local health stores is unfair to the public that buys them. They are very expensive. Why do they sell under ripe fruit? Because they can and hope, at our expense to make their profit. Not very nice!

I actually don't buy, due to the fact that my family and I have been agriculture oriented and we have our own tree at home that also we graphed so it gives us different variety of nectarines and peaches. If we did buy we would definitely purchase directly from either Gerawan, Prima-Wawona. I recommend their white peach or nectarines, also they have a variety of red plums that are extremely delicious.
