We went to Whataburger at almost 2am, because it's the best thing open then. However, I wouldn't recommend it at that time because the line at the drive thru is super long. Of course size matters, but as she said "this is just too much". Fortunately, Uber increased my fare and these ladies actually tipped. A car load of guys ain't gonna tip, even after sitting in that stinkin' line for 30 min. And that's the difference between actual girls and the imposters pretending to be women.

We've had relatives and friends working at a Whataburger at various times which has given me an insight into the business model. The jobs pay little but folks don't want to leave. One friend stayed loyal to serving even while complaining bitterly about her boss's ill-mannered treatment of her. Regardless, the burgers, breakfast dishes, and now, the salads are always well prepared. I've never had to return food or go back for something the servers forgot. Generally, the staff is friendly and helpful. Our outlet in the Cultural District is a super clean well managed spot we're accustomed to picking up a quick meal once or twice a month. The salads are my favorite. Large and scrumptious. It's the cranberries smothering fun chick bites with a wide variety of greens. I seldom wolf it down in one sitting. The salads are fresh enough to make it to the next meal. My other favorites are the egg wraps served after 10. I do wolf these down! Then the classic onion rings will be my yummy snack choice! Hubby loves the chocolate shake. He won't share. He'll buy you one of your own and if it's too much he'll happily assist. I am convinced Wataburger is never going to disappoint me because it never has. The burgers, fries and onion rings are as expected, southern comfort fast food. The salads are a delightful surprise.

New building, new Whataburger. Still takes time going through the drive thru. Don't bother using the app to order ahead. You still have to wait in line. I had an additional wait on my food once I got to the window. All they had ready for me was my drinks. This was at 4:30 am so it wasn't busy. There was one car in front of me. To make matters worse, the burgers were cold and the fries were worse. They were cold and oh so very greasy, as though they had been sitting on the counter all day. What was I waiting on? I could have gone with 3 stars if the food was fresh but instead I give it one star. Avoid this location.
