The room was nice and clean, it had a full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, that we didnt need for one night, but was very nice. The boardwalk on the canal was pretty and very relaxing. Glad we brought or own shampoo and conditioner because the little bottle of soap they provided was pretty genaric. The hot breakfast they advertise was pretty sad. They had what looked like wrapped microwave breakfast burritos and spinach frutatas. Cereal and oatmeal and that was it. Not our idea of a hot breakfast so we didnt eat but at least they offered something. Had to pay $30 a night for parking that should have been free with our stay since it was the hotels lot and not a separate parking area or garage. I expected better for what it cost per night, but overall it was a nice hotel.

The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is the service. This place is disappointing, to say the least, for Marriott. I've stayed in many and this has the worst location, parking is 30$ every time you go out and come back in, and the rooms just feel gross. I paid almost 300$ for a breakfast that didn't open until 7am and I had to be gone at 6am. All of the doors have black marks on them and some look like they have been kicked on. Lighting in rooms was awful. Cabinets were chipped and sticky. Refrigerator was dented. I felt like I was in a 90$ hotel room. I am highly disappointed and don't suggest this place to anyone. Exercise room has 2 treadmills, some dumbbells, a bike, and it's so humid and muggy that is hard to breathe. The elevator could only comfortably fit 2 people with bags in it and it was so slow it was faster to just take the steps. Again, this place is just disappointing.

I’ve spent over 50 nights at this location and the staff here proactively go above and beyond to ensure that every night is worth the price. The rooms overlooking the canal have a nice view and opening the windows can be surprisingly refreshing for downtown. The only downside is that parking is a bit pricey. It is comparable to other Indy garages but they all seem overpriced, anyway.

Positive: I live in this hotel during covid-9 months... the quality is very poor now and there are two managers that are very rude I will give props to manager (she has six kids and never shows her stress) she is awesome! Negative: I noticed that the bathrooms have been ran down due to mold and fixings a nd the kitchen cabinets are full of scratches and the walls have marks from people burning candles or smoking I don't know what has happened to this property.

Maps says 12 minutes drive in a non-race day. Expect 3-10 times that on a race day.

Yes. You can lift the bottom window but only to an extent. Try to get hold of those tiny white knobs and lift upwords..
