Super unorganized. The NP is a quack and is snobby. She will ask you questions like if you were active when you were younger and when you say yes, she acts like she has figured out the reason why you’re experiencing joint pain. It’s really cringe. You come for a massage, then find yourself being given other recommendations so they can bill your insurance thousands. Once you go through all the hurdles and finally are able to get a massage, it’s not even good. I’ll stick to getting massages at my normal place.

I first went to this amazing place back in April and I received a series of injections and my knee is 8 out of 10 times better than what it was when I 1st stepped into that place the staff It's awesome and the doctor I can't remember what her name is but she's a dark haired Asian lady with glasses she did a wonderful job administering my injection to my knee she was friendly and very careful the whole time and so were her assistants I walk and get upstairs way better than I have been in the past 2 or 3 years by the way my name is Naroshaunda Starks

Long story short scheduling wasn’t mindful of my time, waited until I arrived to advise me of an hour wait between consult and massage. To add insult to injury had a young man call an hour later to see if I wanted to return back later this evening as if I had not just wasted my time. The lack of concern, compassion and his nonchalant demeanor was way too much for me

Modoma has helped me feel much better! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that some massage therapists aren't as good as others. But once you find the ones that work for you it is great!

What does a medical massage therapist do?

Modoma Health | Aug 19, 2022
Modoma Health | Aug 19, 2022

Medical massage therapists have training and experience that allows them to provide care focused on healing injuries, improving function, or increasing circulation. While some patients may experience a euphoric state of relaxation and get some relief from tight muscles, pain, or injury, as part of the healing process, you may feel some degree of muscle soreness, tightness, tension, spasms, and/or increased pain. Just as you may feel sore after a workout (if you haven’t worked out in a while), specifically medical integrated massage where we focus only on problem areas, can stimulate areas of your body that you haven’t targeted recently. If you’re feeling pain in a certain part of your body, you may have unconsciously been ignoring this spot, which results in numerous things such as tightness, tensions, knots or trigger points, or even a buildup of toxins.
