We recently placed my mom at Memory Care Apartment in Connections, a part of the Providence Place Community. It’s always a difficult decision, but once I visited the facility and met with Morgan and Michelle, who heads up Connections, I knew it was the right place to care for me mother. The staff is warm and welcoming. Most importantly, they are compassionate. They help the entire family feel comfortable during the transition. Not only do they have the care of my mom foremost in their minds, but they take the time to communicate with the family to keep us updated on her progress. If you are in need to find a community for a senior in your family, visit Providence Place before you make your decision.

My mom had a GREAT experience with a month stay at Providence Place (respite). She had been at an inpatient rehab facility which advertises as a five star facility receiving less than adequate care. When they told us that Medicare felt she was ready to go home, we both knew that was not at all safe. She was recovering from a stroke and still was unable to do so much on her own. When I learned Providence Place offered a respite care option, where mom could continue to receive PT and OT, I immediately called them and scheduled a visit. I met with Morgan Hartmoyer who gave me a tour and explained how everything would work. Morgan also took the time to go and visit with mom and explain everything to her as well. I visited another facility but knew in my gut that Providence Place was where mom would get the best care. The transition from the other facility to Providence Place was very smooth. And just as my gut had told me, mom immediately began to progress with the PT and OT offered. She met many of the residents and shared meals with them. She participated in some of the activities offered. Some days I found it hard to squeeze in a quick visit between PT/OT, Bingo, musicians and happy hour. But that was okay because I knew mom was safe and receiving the care she needed. Not too long ago I was able to bring mom home. I will definitely take her to visit the friends she made while staying at Providence Place. If you are looking for independent living, assisted living or memory care be sure to visit Providence Place in Collegeville. The leadership team and staff work very hard at providing quality care at an affordable price. We cannot thank them enough!

My experience with Providence Place was trustworthy and memorable. My mother was a part of their care for years and when she left, I left the following message: To Providence Place/Service Staff and Medical Staff, My mother was one of the first to sign-up and move in the “Connections “memory care unit at the Providence Place of Collegeville. At this time, it is understood that her dementia symptoms have now surpassed Providence Places’ memory care capabilities. I am writing this letter to inform Providence Place that we will be withdrawing from the facility on April 13th, 2022. In addition to her declining health, our family’s financial limits have been reached and we no longer will be able to continue services at Providence Place for our mother. Michelle Shirley and staff have been more than excellent and superseded our expectations. Communication, protection, and the daily quality care provided was more than money can buy. Our family would like to thank you for your great service, friendship and trust. Thank you for taking care of “Mom”. Best Wishes, Bryan Rivers and Family

The people who took care of my mother were excellent and made a difficult situation better.

Please feel free to visit or call your local campus for specific senior living options and pricing, which will depend on the type of apartment and levels of care provided. Contact information for each campus can be found here: https://www.providence-place.com/communities/.

Hi Al - We had flooding in the basement area from the Perkiomen and are working on cleaning out and replacing some electrical items. Return to campus will depend on parts availability - hopefully a week or two, possibly a bit longer. We will keep everyone updated! Thanks, PP
Hi Eileen, Yes - all of our communities are pet-friendly. If you'd like to take a tour and chat more about the campus and see if it is a good fit for you and your pet(s) - please give us a call at 610-222-5007 (Ask for Stacey or Desiree in the sales office).
There is a club in the vicinity (up above the hill and across the road). You cannot hear any of their activity inside the building, ever. You may be able to hear some activity when outside, but they only are active 1-2 days a week and we’ve never had any mentions of hearing this. We encourage you to visit the campus and speak with the team to address any potential concerns. Thank you!
