My grandparents lived at Keystone Villa in Ephrata for close to three years. Considering the price is relatively high it’s unbelievable how negligent the care is. My grandma would fall and the staff wouldn’t make rounds for hours and she was left on the floor helpless for extended periods of time. Their apartment was left dirty and smelled of urine due to not being cleaned or their basic needs being attended to. Their laundry was constantly missing or lost. They would be wearing clothes that didn’t belong to them. They were left soiled for hours without proper care. The medical alert button that the residents wear around their necks never worked. I later found out that the batteries were expired on both my grandparents call buttons. My grandma had all of her jewelry stolen from one of the housekeepers soon after arriving at Keystone. That should have been a huge sign that things weren’t run properly. Random possession would be stolen from their room. A bathroom scale, a new bottle of Cetaphil body lotion, plastic organizing containers. Luckily my grandparents had family constantly checking in on them and eventually had to hire private duty aids because the care at keystone was so inadequate. Take my advice and move your loved ones elsewhere. Do not let them be taken advantage of and poorly cared for by this heartless facility .

My wife and I toured Keystone Villa at Ephrata yesterday. The facility is immaculate and so clean, very nicely furnished and inviting. I have never seen so much open space, so many lounge areas to curl up in, and so many public spaces to make yourself at home in. It was amazing. They have a very nice pub room, activity kitchen, Chapel area, fitness room, game room, computer room, media room, the list goes on and on. The hallways are very spacious, the ceilings are high and the atmosphere made us think we were in a resort someplace! The dining room is very spacious and large. We had a meal and everything was top shelf! All of the associates of the community were so friendly, caring and genuinely happy. Smiles on everyone. We met the woman who is in charge of housekeeping and we let her know how impressed we were with the cleanliness of everything. Our tour guide (Director of Marketing) answered all of our questions, was genuinely caring and driven to make every resident's experience as good or better than living in your own home! We toured the Independent Living apartments. They are very spacious, well laid out, and the bathrooms are huge! Safety features and security features are everywhere. My wife and I immediately felt at home there. It was as if the apartment was your master bedroom, and the rest of the facility was your house to explore and enjoy. Very well laid out, spacious and well lit everywhere. We had six to eight residents engage us spontaneously in conversation to tell us how happy they were living there, how friendly and caring everyone was who worked there, and wanted to know when we were moving in! What a great experience the entire visit was.

My grandmother has been living here for a little while now and I have to say that this place is tremendous. Most important is the care received and it is top notch from what I can see. Staff were always happy to work with me or my parents on requests or questions and were very polite. Besides the care everything else is excellent as well from the cleanliness of the facility to the quality of the food. This is the place you send your loved ones to enjoy their formative years in real comfort. The rates are well worth it for what you get and like most people we've spoken to our family is happy to spend whatever it takes because a quality elderly community really is priceless. If you're looking for a place for an elderly relative please consider giving them a call, I very highly doubt you will regret that decision.

Don’t be fooled by its beauty. The care was minimal and the cost extreme. The administration was rude and lacked compassion. Moved my mom to Elderwood Senior Living for half the cost. Perhaps not as fancy, but, fancy isn’t everything. Don’t be charmed by its hotel like armory. Not even the food was worth the price.
