Perfect is the only way to describe this place. From the staff and the service to the train car rooms, perfect. The rooms were clean and updated. The train is really cool. Was a pleasant surprise, had no clue they have a train inside the hotel. Had the pleasure to stay in one if the train cars. Recommend it to anyone visiting Indy.

I made reservations for a room with two beds in November 2021 for a stay in April 2022. I called to adjust my reservation from two nights to one. I called and talked to a young lady and told her that I would be checking in on Saturday instead of Friday. She said that she changed it for me and she sent me a confirmation of the changes. I go to check in on Saturday and the man at the desk said that they didn’t have a room for me because I was a no show the night before. I showed him my confirmation email of the changes and he said that it wasn’t changed and they gave my room away. I told them that was not my fault and clearly had the confirmation that proved it was changed and after at least ten mins of explaining my story over and over they said they’d offer me a king bed. I told them that wasn’t going to work considering there were four of us that were staying. They kept telling me they wouldn’t accommodate me. I told them they had to fix the situation and showed them that I booked the room in November and they obviously gave my room away and that it sounded like they needed to give me a room and explain it to the next person because it was their fault. They admitted that they overbooked and again I told them that was not my problem. They called incoming guests to see if they would take a king instead of the two beds they booked. They finally gave me a room with two beds. The room had food that had obviously been left there for days on the floor and was hard as a rock. The walls are so thin, you can hear conversations of the people next to you and they’re not even shouting. On the day of checkout (Sunday) I was at the convention center and found out my credit card had been shut off due to continuous charges all the same amount within minutes of each other. When I found out why the hotel had charged me 3 extra nights. When I called the hotel they told me that since it was Sunday I had to call back on Monday to speak to the business office. That they charged me for 4 nights total. Luckily when speaking to my bank they took off all the extra charges and turned my card back on. This hotel overbooks and even though you have confirmation, they act like the confirmation means nothing. I will NEVER stay at the hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Great location and very unique ambiance. The building was previously a train station, has lots of exposed ironwork, a central atrium with a glass ceiling, and train cars which have been converted to guest suites. It's immediately adjacent to the convention center and stadium. There's an indoor connection to both to keep you out of the weather. The rooms are relatively spacious, but definitely comfortable.

*Photos were taken at checkout* The hotel is beautiful & the staff were friendly. We stayed in a train car room, it was nice. The kids & I enjoyed a swim in the pool. Although our room was small, a microwave would've been beneficial. There's a market area to purchase snacks but breakfast isn't included, you may purchase one at an additional cost. The pool was in an odd location & out in the open. Valet parking is available with in/out privileges. If you park in the garage, you have to pay each time you leave. I wasn't thrilled but we had a decent time.

Lots of places to eat, but not so many that are child freindly, there's the last resort place, a hard rock and the typical steak and shake, oh but there are quite a few options around circle centre mall which is just a short walk away.
