Pleasant place to walk around and do exercise circuit. Although there happened to be a young female that had left her BMW in parking lot unattended with the music blasting while she was walking and trying to catch her dog .

I had a nice walk through the Park and stop at the exercise stations along the way. I gave it a 3 because I wish there were more exercise stations of different kinds. I was thankful to find this because I was traveling.

The wellness park at Ruth Hardy Park is everything and anything you want it to be. Many dog lovers bring their four legged family members to the park for exercise and enjoyment and to socialize with others. People use the park for their daily exercise routines going from each permanent exercise point to the next, located along the pathways. It is also a very peaceful place just to sit on a bench, watch people, reflect and maybe throw in an afternoon siesta. There is also a Saturday morning yoga class led by an instructor in the core of the park as well as other health expos at various times throughout the year.

Do dogs have to be On leashes in that park?

Yes, it is NOT a dog park, dogs must be on leash AND THE OWNER MUST HOLD THE LEASH. If you don't, I and other walkers in the park will call Animal Control. There are plenty of dog parks. The Wellness Park is meant to be a safe place to be healthy and mindful - that's tough to do with irresponsible dog owners who come for social hour with other owners and ignore their dogs. We're tired of being chased off paths or lunged at by an unattended dog, and I've been bit twice. There's a Dog Park on El Cielo and Tahquitz.
