Maybe I might be a little more " in the know" than most as I did so many missions and got involved in so many things, but my family decided to leave and I see other people that are leaving because of some decisions that the church is making and how they treat people. They do have great messages that they share with people about being Christ's followers as they put it. Yet the things they do don't quite follow their own advice. So I would say if you just want to be more of a person that just wants to go to church once in a while to hear a good message this is for you. However if you really want people that walk the walk and talk the talk maybe because you might get involved a little more. It really didn't work for many others that I know. All the good people that I know that were more involved in the church ended up leaving. Some good pastors left. Some good organizers left. Some good people left. So we're kind of left with the old standbys which personally I'm not too impressed with their integrity or lack thereof. I love my God and I really don't want to say something against the church but if someone starts going here and starts questioning is this how Christians are supposed to be.... Then that's a bad thing so that's why I feel content in the fact to leave this review. So far Compass Church also in Naperville has been looking good. Keeping my fingers crossed that they walk the walk.

I attended this church in 2002 soon after my family came to America and found this yellow box. The style was very contemporary and many things what conventional churches should learn ! Rarely if I have a chance to drive by here, I see myself crying in the sanctuary because I didn't know what to do for my divorce. Also I remember a person touching his or her hand on me when I was sobbing ! I felt someone's sincere concern & could imagine that the person would pray for my agony to be treated by God ! After I stopped sobbing, I could see a young couple and the husband had prayed on my back ! Appreciated to them and a year or two, I met a woman who looked like the wife of the couple ! I asked her and she said ahe thinks she was the wife of the couple ! I said that I wanted to meet her to express my deep appreciation ! I wish the more Christians can put their hands onto other immigrants who are not White Caucasians !!! 💚
