This state natural area is a little gem tucked away in Volo. Great paths and wonderful visitors center with clean bathrooms. Have brought my kids here to see the rare wilderness for decades.

Hadn't been there in years. Nice visitor center. Woman there was very nice and knew lots of our questions. We took the. 5 mile trail...very pretty!

Is Volo bog dog friendly? Are there only specified areas or is it all accessible for leashed pets?

there are definitely better places to take dogs. If one got away from you here you'd probably never see it again. You can't leave the trail at all or risk being fined. Highly protected area. The ring trail is just a trail.

Does the photography group still meet at the bog? Contact person? When & time they meet?
