Horrible service...constant loops on the phone that lead to no where. I have wasted hours on the phone and everything is a delay and then a automated system that hangs up on you

I recommend emailing every elected official in the state of NJ. I did on behalf of my suddenly disabled husband. They JUMP when the governor's office calls them out on their nonsense. Send a few emails! Can't hurt!

They NEVER answer the phone. There is no way to get a return call. How do you get an appointment for assistance for another job? Can't be that busy. Unemployment rate is 3.6%.

Haha, that’s funny! It is the most outdated, incompetent system. They completely abandoned their useless call center and now it is impossible to speak to someone. Way to go Murph!

I went there with my wife 3 days ago and we were told that they took out the phone lines and there's nobody to speak to I really don't understand this my wife is at work for over a year she ran out of unemployment and was trying to apply for the extension and there's just no one to talk to
No, unfortunately. I went there last week and was met at the door by a man with a flyer with all of the contact numbers that you see on the myunemployment.gov website. He said they've been shut down basically since COVID started. I've been waiting some 5 weeks for mine to clear now and I went looking for some answers but I didn't really get any. Sorry, but I hope this saves you the trip =]

I’m wondering the same thing! I went a few weeks ago and there was a sign they would reopen 6/8 but when I went there they were not open and sign was gone.
There is no such thing as an extension. If you are currently attending an approved school or training program they may give you training benefits.
