The best tailor around! Nancy can do practically everything. She’s rewoven a cashmere wrap that had a hole in it as well as hemmed/altered several of my (designer) tops, blouses and dresses that I didn’t trust with anyone else. (It’s very hard to find someone who will reweave anything, let alone cashmere.) She’s very experienced and it shows in her work. 👗🪡🧣👚🧵 🏆 👖 All of the work is done by her and it’s performed on site. Had a very poor experience twice. Once I had a dress altered and it literally started unraveling the first time I wore it while in NYC. The second time my husband brought a stuffed tiger of my sons that my dog ripped the arm off. She said it would be done in a week. When my husband called, she said to give her another week. She never called to let us know the repair was done. After a month my husband picked it up, and the job was terribly done (I could have fixed it myself for much less money). This simple repair probably cost more than the actual toy. I gave this place a chance twice but will be finding another alteration shop from now on.

Was in a wedding and had to get my dressed altered within 3 weeks. Nancy got my dress hemmed and fitted within 1 week. Her pricing is quite reasonable and depending on your timely needs/ complexity of the alterations she will adjust the pricing accordingly. She did say that she can alter a wedding dress in 24 hours (URGENT/RUSH orders) confidently and I believe it! Her shop is well equipped to handle sophisticated alterations. Nancy is simply excellent in the business of tailoring and has been doing this for over 20+ years; Her customers are loyal and her work has proved itself time and time again(check out her previous reviews as well) to experience and skillset in clothing, dress, and suit alterations. Give her a call if you need tailoring done. She's worth the drive!!
