The park is great for dogs. There's a lake for hot days, an open area where dogs play together, and trails to practice off leash commands. I find that the dogs who go here are better behaved than other FPCC parks as well. It's our dogs' favorite dog park. The only downside to this park is that the owners and workers here aren't as friendly with minorities as other parks. A park worker confronted us about our dogs because we brought some family members to see the park as they were considering getting a puppy. We only had our two dogs with us, both who are registered, and even after showing my pass, assuring the worker our pass accounted for both dogs, they kept pressing us and following us around the park. We've also had other parkgoers accuse us of strange things like stealing a water bowl (it was ours) and not picking up after our dog (we did). As well as other, less noteworthy incidents where the owners have been passive aggressive with us. So if you are Latino or from another minority group, just be aware that you may experience some microagressions here.

Nice park for a relaxing day.

This place is massive! It's also very well kept. You enter at a large grassy area, with a large pond, a pavilion and some picnic tables. From there you can check out some marshy area on the right, or head to the left where there's another broad open grassy area. There are small trails that lead to more meadow-like, grassy areas with trees, with small groves with just grass, picnic tables and doggy poop bag stations dispersed throughout. I went on a weekday so there were only a handful of dogs. A lovely place that im looking forward to spending more time at! My pup loved it too.

The dogs loved it. I wish there was less mud and noise from the highway. But the dogs have a great time regardless.

Yes, if you Google Beck Lake Dog Park you probably even get some pictures! Fpdcc.com/things-to-do/#off-leash
An annual pass, cost based per dog and a vet form testifying vaccine Status needs submission. Its a good deal and my dogs love the freedom to roam.
Yep, go to the link below and scroll down to off leash. https://fpdcc.com/permits/
I don't think so. This is through the forest preserve. But I'm not positive. You do need a key and tag to get in. http://fpdcc.com/recreation/off-leash-dog-areas/#registration
