Amazing church & priest! Congregation is extremely welcoming. If you’re looking for peaceful comfortable place to pray.. visit St Paul

The comment about Good Friday fails to mention that the burial is done during a Divine Liturgy. The reason the Priest wore white was because it is required for all clergy to wear white during a Divine Liturgy. The "shinny stones" which were also mentioned is something called a "stole" in English. This is equivalent to a Deacon wearing a cloth in the shape of a cross or over-the-shoulder on top of their tonia. This stole is commonly worn during, what a western Christian may call, a "High" Mass or service. Good Friday would qualify as such in Orthodoxy. My Priest never wears a stole, but does on Good Friday. The other stuff about seeing people on their phone makes sense because a number of those who attend the service may not be used to such a long service, or do not attend Liturgy regularly. Based on what I've seen from this church through media, Father James seems to be a well learned pastor and friendly. The disrespectful nature of the laity may not be as common as express, but is nonetheless a bad look.
