For $297 we had a standard room…Our room was dirty … stuff all over the bed skirt. The pool and hot tub were dirty and flies everywhere! They did not have any towels and when we asked they said there were out completely. We had to call 3 times for our cot to be delivered. The flies were EVERYWHERE! The grossest thing was there was a fly trap hanging in the dining area for breakfast. Just right out in the open. There is a stock yard across the street that has millions of flies. It was a terrible stay. We will not stay at another Holiday Inn Express!

Room smelled dank. Carpet felt wet and there was a moldy odor. King bed was nice, but sleeper sofa next to it was horrible. It stank of sweat and other things hard to identify. It had separate sleeping pillows and covers. Sleeping pillows stank too. Sweat or spit or who knows what else. Generally dirty room. We also did loundry there and one of the washer/dryer sets did not work. Not a note in sight, which ended up with us running back and forth while figuring out if we were doing something wrong or not. Lastly we got a room on ground floor and we couldn't close the window curtains for privacy. That felt like being in a zoo, with hotel patrons being able to look in while walking by. Worst hotel experience in a while.

We booked here last minute with not much else to choose from. The outside garbage can was overflowing which is usually a sign of what’s to come. The lobby floor was dirty as were the hallways. Our room looked like it was going to be ok…until we went to use the bathroom. There was dirty water all over the toilet seat (which was down) and onto the floor. I’m guessing maybe it came from the vent up above but that was dry at the time. We sacrificed a towel to mop it up. When I lifted the seat the toilet bowl itself was not very clean. We tried to just ignore it and get through the night. On a plus the room was quiet and we were able to sleep and move on the next morning.

Positive: The room was beautiful and very clean. the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She made you feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious. Great selection and the attendant was constantly cleaning and restocking. We loved out stay. Negative: Nothing.
