The new RC is amazing. New crown jewel of Evanston. But it's already getting pretty beat up. There are a lot of people going through every day and the wear is showing. The building needs maintenance. The city insists on doing everything at the front door in the middle of all the sporting activities. It seems like the west patio was made for such events and yet it is never used. I hope we can all use the facility and keep it nice.

First time me coming here it's so big and clean and nice. Love the skating rink and library. I got offer a job here as an PRE K ASSISTANT TEACHER but I didn't take it bc I don't work for $12 an hour I have. Job now as an infant assistant teacher position at another daycare making $17 an hour. Thank you again for the offer and good luck

The indoor track is free. However, one must be at least 12 years to be on it without supervision of an adult.
I'm sad too. There are other things to do, but RCC is a good place to hang.
Yes, there is a walking track around one of the rinks. I've never been asked for ID before, so you can probably walk right in. I believe they ask for proof of vaccination though.
