My daughter and son-in-law were married here on 9/3/22. The wedding couple were one and done after touring the venue. We booked the whole venue and were so pleased with everything from start to finish. All the renovations were just as lovely as we had been promised they would be. Such a perfect setting. The ceremony was held in the ballroom and then we had the cocktail hour on the main level. When we returned to the ballroom for the reception, we were in awe of how beautifully and quickly it had been flipped. We received so many compliments on venue. From the start Gretchen was hands on, very communicative and answered the many questions that we threw at her. Arthur and Briana were the staff on hand for the wedding day. They were so hard working and everything ran so smoothly. We could not be happier and would gladly recommend the WCOE.

We chose the Woman’s Club for our wedding reception venue and could not be happier. It’s a beautiful, classy building located in the heart of downtown Evanston. The facility works great for a wedding party. We had a cocktail hour on the first floor while we had pictures taken after the ceremony and then our reception luncheon was already set up on the second floor when we arrived. The room looked stunning. Gretchen was incredibly nice as were all the vendors she recommended. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had the perfect wedding at the Woman’s Club of Evanston, exceeding all of our expectations. Gretchen and her staff were fantastic, meeting all of our needs. The music room downstairs was great for our ceremony and our 90 guests were comfortable. Guests then moved into the large, adjacent room for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres which worked well. The ballroom upstairs was gorgeous and beautifully set up for dinner and dancing. We could not have been more pleased. We give the WCE an A+!
