Best place not to shop if you are a minority and want to be looked down, reading will not make you less ignorant.

Hi Jose. We do buy a lot of books, but we are much more selective when paying cash. There are a lot of things that we can only give store credit for because we already have them, see them all the time or have other titles that are very similar. Store credit can be used to pay for up to 50% of any purchase of recycled items. Just tell us if you want cash only, or cash for what you can and credit on the rest. There is a $5 "thank you discount" on your next purchase if you set up a trade-in account for store credit. (Thanks to all of you who were able to answer before I got here.)
Yes we do. Our selection is not as large as we would like. We’re always looking to buy more.
Hello Joey. Sorry to just now see this. The prices of our LPs vary from a couple dollars to 15 or 20 or more sometimes depending on what they are and the condition. The average is more like $5-7. 45s are usually $2 each put can be a bit more in some cases. Cassettes are usually $3. CDs are usually $4-10. Hope this helps. The vinyl is primarily in one area. The cassettes are mostly in another area. The vinyl is mostly already tagged, but things like cassettes are only tagged if they are different
Sorry to just see this. We do when we have some brought in as our customers recycle their stuff with us. We seem to see more of them at our East Dallas location.
Yes. Always.
Hello Karla. Not exactly, but maybe some in a bit. You might want to stop by the bookstore and leave your contact info just in case.
They do, there's an unlimited selection. Text books, all books. Go check it out!
I would be shocked if they didn't have it, but your best bet is to give them a call and ask. They are super helpful.
This is a question you should ask the bookstore by calling or emailing. This is for reviews and general information, not specific products that vary at a used book store.
David, we can usually only offer store credit for these items. Unfortunately, lots of used magazines end up in our free piles unless they are very current or something pretty unusual. We'll be happy to take a look and see what we can do on them.
Yes, but our selection is pretty limited at the moment. We’d love to have you bring some of either that you are done with to recycle with us.
I'd guess yes though.
No
I believe if it's a service dog you can certainly, but even if not if the dog is under control and not a nuisance no one would really mind much. That is my honest opinion and not certain truth.
That is a question better answered by the staff at that location. They might be able to answer over the phone, but be prepared for a long wait while they go look on the shelves. I called about a fiction author and a specific title and I was on hold for about 25 min.
I would try a comic book shop or sell them online.
I'd encourage you to reach out to the owner privately.
It's a book store
We do have a nice trade paperback copy of it for $7 before the application of any store credit that you may have from bringing things to trade-in. We have put your last name on this copy and will hold it until we hear back from you as to whether you still need a copy. Thanks to Joshua for the encouraging responses to these questions. We do welcome phone calls directly to our locations for faster service. We can also send books between locations at no extra charge.
Thanks to you for asking John and to all the other folks who saw your question before I did. We do buy both for cash, but we are selective and can only offer store credit for more things offered to us. Some things we can usually buy if the condition is ok are either pretty new releases or classic blues, jazz and rock n' roll. Otherwise, the more esoteric, the better chance. The store credit can be used to pay for up to 50% of our prices on any recycled items in any of our 3 locations.
They do. They give much more in credit than Half Price Books. Credit can be used to cover half of purchases in the store.
