Worst mail carrier service. Just had 2 packages disappear mid-shipment (they had no tracking so I couldn’t do anything) and one of my mail carriers is not just a thief but is so lazy they have me pick up my packages that are too big to fit in my box instead of attempting to deliver it to my door. I get the pink slip in my mailbox, not even on my door, so there was no attempt to deliver. Lazy. Glad I haven’t had anything else lost/stolen but the 2 parcels, and this has been going on before the pandemic! Missing packages, late deliveries, attempted delivery lies. The people in the office are alright but good luck with your packages UPDATE 03/14/22: I haven't had a problem since I posted this review 7 months ago as long as I have a tracking number. And yes I understand mail carriers walk miles a day delivering mail. So this review is aimed more at the mail person on my route rather than the post office REUPDATE 9/30/22 priority deliveries are taking longer than usual (was predicted). I hate how they reroute packages so they get delivered together instead of just delivering them when they’re supposed to get here (I’ve had one “moving through the network” for about a week instead of getting here 3 days ago as expected)

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Myself and 2 other people were in line at 5pm. Alvin told us we’d have to wait while he did his end of day paperwork. 20 minutes later he comes out and says he’ll do what he can in 10 minutes before closing at 530, and proceeded to berate the young woman at the counter. He then disappeared to the back and didn’t come back out to help anyone else. I left and had to come back the next day. Awful service.

Update: It’s really mostly one guy that is always super rude, not just to me but i’ve seen him be rude to other people as well. It’s a short, older hispanic guy and i’m not sure of his name but I hope someone sees this and asks him to do better and stop being rude. I try to avoid him and his bad attitude whenever possible. He puts up a sign at least 20 mins before closing that says they’re not accepting anymore customers and just puts his hand up 🖐🏽basically to signal people to go away, saying that he’s not going to help anyone else. Anywhere i’ve worked, we werent allowed to just close the doors 20-30 mins early no matter how busy it was. I don’t really think that should be the case, but at the very least he could be polite about it. The previous workers used to always be so kind and helpful. Original Review: It’s unfortunate how it’s always the negative experiences that frustrate me enough to write a review lol. Honestly, in most cases I have positive experiences at this branch. Typically the workers (at least the ones that work at the front desk - NOT necessarily the mail deliverers or people behind the scenes) are very polite and kind, but it seems like all the nice ones have either left or retired unfortunately. I have a small business that depends heavily on shipping, so i’ve been here a million times and have had countless experiences with them. i’ve had a ton of issues with items being lost (stolen from the workers I assume - but we’ll never know). But anyways, what prompted me to even write a review is the experience I had today. I call ahead of time and speak with the manager to see if I can pickup a package that arrived at this branch today. Granted, it’s near closing time but he says if I can get there in the next 20 mins, it would be fine. I get there in about 5 minutes, only to be rudely greeted by a man who says “we might not be able to get to you, we got alot of stuff to do.” With a rude tone. Mind you, there was still about 15 mins left until close, and I was the only one there besides the woman be was already ’helping’. So it wasn’t like there was a long line. I was going to politely reply, but he swiftly walks away and completely acts like he can’t hear me talking. I know he heard me, but continued to walk into another room and blatantly ignore me. He walked out of the room and I don’t think he planned to come back and help me. He also walked away from the elderly woman in front of me who was already at his desk. She was unsure what to do but there was no one there to answer her question, it was just us 2 standing there confused. She left, then Luckily, a nice woman walked in and asked me if I needed help. She quickly gave me my package and I was out of there less than 30 seconds later. If the rude man had just listened to me for 10 seconds, it could have been a quick and pleasant transaction. Just because you have a bad day doesnt mean you have to ruin someone else’s. 🤷🏽♀️ Super frustrating and unprofessional. I will reiterate that most of my experiences here have been positive, but this one wasn’t very good at all. And i’ve had many issues in the past with the people who actually deliver the mail and also the customer service agents at the main USPS phone number.

Doesn't make since that this is the post office we have to pick up our mail when it's not the closest. There's rude employees and we shouldn't have to miss work to get our mail and our mail key. Took forever too even get our keys and no one notified us.

The only thing you can do is go into the post office.
👍
Yes, you can
You can go to usps.com and find the price. Under the Quick Tools tab, click on Calculate a Price. On that page you will enter the size and weight of your package, address information and when you want to ship. If you ship using USPS flat rate packaging, the sizes are already there. The boxes are free and, depending on the weight, they can be the least expensive way to ship.
You can calculate the price of any package on the usps.com website. Under the Quick Tools tab, click on Calculate a Price and enter the size and weight of the package, the address you are shipping to, your address and when you want to ship. You'll see prices for all available mail classes.
Yes you can. You can also have automatic payments set up on line.
Yes
It depends on how long you want to rent it for and whether you order it online or at the post office. It's less expensive to order it at usps.com. I ordered mine online for 3 months (which is the least amount of time they offer) and it was $29.00.
Yes
They don't allow you to rent one for one month, but for 3 months, mine was $29.00 online. That was the smallest size they had. If you are expecting a lot of mail or don't plan on picking it up daily, you may need a larger size. Also it's less expensive to order it online.
You can order a PO Box online, but you will have to go to the post office to pick up keys and finalize the order. If you are from out of state, they have to verify that you are a real customer which takes a few days. FYI, its less expensive to order the PO Box online.
