One of the best places for mental help that I've been. They've always pulled through for me and have always been kind to me.

I’ve seen/used Kath-Lanterman in the past & loved the guidance & work she did with me. It’s hard to find someone to who has availability who’s experienced with trauma patients. And can keep up with my ADHD so I highly recommend giving her a try if she fits any of those criteria’s for you. Hoping to squeeze back into her schedule as I have time to attend sessions again.

My son was referred here through EAP. Took a while to get an initial appointment and then next to impossible to make additional appointments less than a month out. Therapist communicated open availability due to cancellations by text message. My son agreed to an appt which had come open due to a cancellation , therapist texted him to confirm day before to which he didn’t respond until day of that he couldn’t make it, and then I get $75 bill for late cancellation fee. Can’t have any sort of regularly scheduled recurring appointments but sure can bill you if you cancel too late. Would not recommend if you have urgent needs as they cannot accommodate quickly. I have another child that sees a therapist at a different practice and he has appts every two weeks like clockwork - that type of scheduling is too difficult for Summit Center obviously. Very disappointing experience.

Booked an appointment here. Earliest date to be seen was February 1st 2022. I just moved back to the area so I need a new psychiatrist. I got a call saying they’re canceling my appointment because I’m prescribed Xanax. Mind you, I’m trying to get off this medication and get an adhd test as recommended by my doctor. I need to discuss alternatives which is what a psychiatrist is supposed to do. Instead the psychiatrist typecasted me and refused me after already booking the appointment. It shows exactly how biased and discriminatory this practice is. I suppose it’s better to find out sooner than later that patients will not be proparly cared for here.
