Update: so I went in to the location mad thinking it was going to be awful but the site manager is actually very nice and understanding. Litterally dont even bother with this place, they're horrible. When I first got the storage it was absolute hell. Their gate was always broken and couldn't even get into the unit. I had to move out 3 days late do to their in ability to run the business properly. Now they send me an email EVERYDAY saying they've called me which they've NEVER have even after calling them asking for a call back.. I've emailed them and they don't email back i just want to know how to pay my freakin bill since their website says i don't have an account.. Once i pay it we are moving our stuff. Never want to deal with storage king EVER not this one or even another location they are AWFUL

I would strongly suggest you renting a unit else where. The changes this location has made are not in the consumer's best interest..Lien fees have been moved from 3 months to 30 days. I was told by an employee they had to abide by "certain storage laws" in Texas but after further investigation, there's no "state law" that requires you to have a lien fee for being 1 month behind. Before you could call ahead to let them know You'll be late and they would work with you, now you get the scripted, "There's nothing we can do, late fees are automatically posted" ....When they decide to answer the phone. I wouldn't be as frustrated if the male employee I spoke to weeks ago would have told me about this Lien fee when I mentioned I could not pay my storage until the 7th. He made it sound like it was OK everything was fine, I even asked about late fees and he told me about late fees but refused to mention anything about a "$118 Lien fee." Be mindful of these sneak attacks to take your things... A few companies have bought this location Since this Unfortunate four year stay of mine. But this one, I feel has been the most dishonest and expensive. Storage king USA brings in annually a couple of billion. I guess it's true what they say, no person/ company makes that kind of money with positive moral values. You've been warned.
