The entire experience to fly my dog from AZ to GA was great. I was scared at first being my first time flying a pet but the agent was trustworthy and all the documents they need they take very seriously as well as the kennel requirements and temperature limit for the day that they allow dogs to fly under. Everyone that I dealt with was nice and I would use them again to fly my dog.

Most likely the American will clear the dog for you. As for pickup you need to pick the dog for AA cargo building

1 hr for domestic and 2 hrs for international. Come early if you have live animals.
