I’m seeing improvements in my dog’s behavior and he gets excited to come to class each week.

Such a fun, positive and bright environment! We did a manners assessment at WAGD after having an assessment at another facility and the difference was drastic. Our dog loves it here and takes treats just fine and feels relaxed. She wouldn’t touch her treats at the other facility because she was so on alert and nervous. We did a private this morning and would 100% recommend privates as well here if you need them.

Had a solid dog training experience here at a good rate. Highly recommend!

Update as of 8/21/2022: We have now completed 3 classes and started a 4th one. Our dog has loved the classes. All of the instructors have been awesome (Clemie, Laura, Dan, and now Kristi). And the front of house staff have been so kind and accommodating. We feel so lucky to be near this facility. Original post: We just started training at this facility after moving near here, great big facility and great knowledgeable staff and trainers!

Yes, our Therapy Prep class is $100 and is 4 weekly sessions. Dogs who have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen certification are eligible for this class. If your dog doesn't have that, our Manners1 and Manners 2 classes train those skills.

Hello Brandy! Yes, we do have trainers that work with hearing impaired dogs. In fact, one of our trainers has a deaf white boxer. For more information feel free to give us a call at 214-297-3000.
Hi Janice, That behavior will be better handled by an in-home trainer. All of our training is done at our facilities, with the owner and dog together. See apdt.com or karenpryoracademy.com for lists of positive, reward-based trainers who will come to your home. Good luck!
Our 6 week group classes cost $168. See our website www.whatagreatdog.com for all the scoop.
Yes, the classes are $168 for six weeks. You'll come once a week for an hour. The prerequisite for Agility is having basic obedience skills that you can demonstrate in a ring with distractions (strange dogs and people). If you haven't trained to that level yet, no problem, you can start in our Pet Manners classes to get all the required skills. Check out the website for lots of info and videos. www.whatagreatdog.com
Hi Peter, Give us a call. Depending on the type of aggression, we’ll either help you directly in a private session or give you a great referral. Call us at 214-297-3000.
