Pre-emergent herbicides are put down in the fall and spring. Post-emergent herbicides are put down during the growing season. Fertilizer are applied through out the year as necessary to maintain a healthy green lawn.

In our area, we recommend up to four pre-emergent applications, depending on the condition and health of your lawn.

Core Aeration is not necessary but highly recommended. Core Aeration helps with loosening up the soil, which allows for better nutrient absorption and thus a greener healthier lawn.

These are three weeds in our area that are very difficult to control. It is important to do pre-emergent weed application to try and prevent them. Once these weeds are established in your lawn, they will require intensive treatment with specialty herbicides to get rid of them.
