While it is small and intimate, there is a huge seating area no one buys and it keeps a lot of open space people could be watching the show. Probably my least favorite venue in DFW. The artist however, made it work.
Adrian Rojas
Good venue for the show we caught.

There is only one entrance open on the upper level parking lot. The entrance through the mall is closed as well. The layout is a bit confusing. And it's messy and the merchandise are mixed. Only one fitting room is open so people had to wait in the long line for a while. They don't let you try on more than 15 items overall. And the person working in the fitting room spoke with attitude. Some of the clothes I saw were either stained or ripped. So overall not worth the trouble of checking this place out.

We visited the House of Blues for a company celebration. It was KUBRA’s 30th year in business. We rented out the entire dining area for our company. There was also a concert playing downstairs. The venue was clean and well organized. It had plenty of staff on hand. The food was fantastic.

Not all of them. All the information can be found on the ticket's website
I went to Ticketmaster and selected my seat
I strongly recommend ONLINE, especially if it’s a well known artist. Because they can be sold out and you might end up going for nothing. However, in online, you may also be paying for a resale ticket so watch for those.
Not when I went a week ago.
Hello, I would advise you to call the venue directly.
Dress is casual.
Yep, standing, you can wiggle your way towards the stage and back out.
Yes. On Sunday there were children of 10 or 8 years old
Some concerts say all ages. A six month old baby was at the concert on the 12th of March.
Some events may require different attire. There wasn't any when we went.
Space, it really depends on the how popular the show is. Typical bar drinks, although it all seems to be in plastic cups. Food seriously overpriced for both the quality and quantity . Three chicken tenders for $10! Except for the french fries. They give you tons of fries. Eat somewhere else before you go here. The portions will not fill you up.
Only standing room in the floor level. Seats were on Balcony
You can park at the Hard Rock Cafe Garage. We did, got there at 6:30 to eat, the waitress suggested leaving our car there and we left the venue after midnight. Total cost for parking was $5!!
Most likely 9 pm.
Mostly all ages. I see a child of about 6 here now.
There wasn't any kind of coat check service when I went.
When we went the tables were 250 for the technically "vip" tables. We decided to stand and when we were leaving we realized you couldn't even see the show very good from the tables.
No water bottles. You'll need to drink up before entering!!
This was our first time there. They also requested our Covid-19 shot card.
As long as you have tickets for the show. They operate as two separate venues.
Depends on the day and time
Mascara only

No
They have reserved seating at tables on the floor and theater seating on the upper level. No idea what your allowed to bring in.
They do take reservations at no charge. Just call and make your request.
Yes, there is a restaurant or outdoor smoking area where you can wait.
Yes, they have valet parking there and there is also parking nearby, I used the parkwiz app and prepaid for valet parking right at the building for only $16.95
Unfortunatly, I have no clue
Yep
It is high but not as bad as a bigger venue. A big show now the beer and drinks are like 23$.
Here is the link to the event calendar. https://www.houseofblues.com/dallas/concert-events You will have to copy and paste into your address bar.
I have no idea. Call the venue, they would know.
You sure can
I assume it's ok. I'm not sure. People we're taking pictures with their phones though. I would call the House of Blues and find out what the rules are. It couldn't hurt.
its possible there are designated locations within 1 area that are different rates, like table top seating or balcony or just stand lol
Ya will have to call dem and ask dem exactly wat it means!!!
No, it's not but we stayed at a Hotel and they took us &picked us up. That's was nice. I didn't have to drive. Thank GOD.at the hotel WE STAYED AT THEY WILL TAKE U AND PICK UP IN A 2 MILE AREA FREE, FREE.
You can sign up for their email and get free ticket offers. You won't even have to pay for a ticket. Seeing Howard Jones for free.
West End Station is probably the closest but Victory isn't far either.
You can purchase at the door but best to buy ahead of time
1. 3 blocks down Lamar Street from West End Station or ride bus down Lamar. 2. Long walk from Victory Station.
They'll check bags and Pat down suspicious people. In side the boot is always checked... No half pints. Ain't worth losing your tickets... Get yourbuzz in parking lot before you enter. Don't get wasted seen them refuse folks that had a good drunk going. Have fun.
No
Starting at 89.00 according to the website. General admission. It is easier to look there since HOB probably doesn't monitor this and Google works wonders.
When you go,to the web page at HOB for the particular event it says when doors open and when show starts. That's different if you are going,to go to dinner at restaurant first then go to show as a package. Try the website again, and dig around a bit more.
Contact the PR department at the House of Blues...for scheduling.

Duh as soon as they go on sale buy the vip
I was there last night and there were quite a few people with digital cameras
I am not privy to that info, though I'm sure that information is public.
Valet parking is offered
We bought bottles of water at the Babymetal show for 5.00 each, they kept the bottle caps so we couldn't close the bottles and the bottles didn't fit in the drink holders in the seats. Wound up with water everywhere. Great show! Expensive water.
They accept cash and card
That would be a negative no big bags backpacks ect.
You can sit in an upper balcony, seats are $20. You can VIP for $150. Other than that you'll be standing. Yes on AC.
They might have VIP for $100. They did at the event I went too. That was the seated area.
Looks like Springhill Suites by Marriott @ 1907 N Lamar St, Dallas, TX 75202 is the closest Marriott to HOB.
If you're standing, there aren't rows... Therefore, it's first come first serve. Get there early you get to stand close to the front. Get there late you'll be mad in the back wishing you had gotten there early.
Call the box office they will let you know for sure.
Generally the answer is no. I've seen security enforce this to varying degrees over the years.
yes it a a good idea to book it ahead and in doing show the dinning area is a little lifted so you can see over the crowd. it's pretty nice I like the lighting
no age restrictions. just know the venue is tiny and it will get cramped and might be a bit pushy
I don't think so. If you are of legal age to drink you receive a wrist band much like any other venue.
Valet parking is offered but it costs. There is public parking directly behind the place which costs me 3.50 2hours and 45 minutes while I perform in the club
You'll have to call .
Yes. The restaurant is open all day and is separate from the concert venues. They do have free music on stage in the restaurant at times . You do not have to pay to get into the restaurant . Hope that helps..
Lots of parking lots nearby. All paid. Valet is $15 usually. Non valet lots will usually cost around $6 to cover you for a whole show
Yeah, I went to a show when I was 13 with a friend of the same age and we went alone. When in line, they go and give all people over 21 and show an ID a wrist band so the bar only sells to them. Final rules are if the event says 16,18, or 21+ then you must go by that
There are many places to park, just make sure to bring money.
I have no idea
The ushers will usually take them if obstructing someones view. Sorry.
Yes, they have valet. There is also parking garage about a block away that is reasonable price.
No jazz venue. Three stages.
The place opens at 4pm & closes at 11:30. If you are to eat there, get there earlier at 4pm or reserve a table. The first band should play around 6pm the the Mavricks 7ish. I suggest valet parking. Have fun and be safe.
I'm not sure what is the VIP seating. But there are 2 floors. The first floor in the front part near the stage is general standing only. Then half away from the stage in the middle of the first floor is a dining area (which I never went there and not sure if that's VIP). I don't think the view is good cause it's at floor level with everyone else or 2 or 3 steps higher than general standing and all the standing people block it. then there is an upstairs balcony. I saw the front rows were booths with tables and from the second row after are just seats. Also not sure how good service works in the balcony. Hope this gives you a little insight...
Tuesdays and Thursdays are free. Other days im not sure
Not sure but they do have a box office or ticket booth right at the front entrance
Yes, restaurant and live music are in separate rooms
